Had a long but awesome day of SW PA climbing on Tim Anderson classics. We stopped at Breakneck on the way down to do a couple of routes around 11am. Was already really hot by then but the climbing wasn't too bad. Nobody else there, though. Then drove the rest of the way to Ohiopyle, stopped for a quick swim and biked just over 4 miles to Schoolhouse for our first time there. What an enjoyable cruise in, definitely my kind of approach. There were 5 people there when we got there around 3 but they were on their way out. We hit up a few of the easier routes and Beau got on the Firefly extension and did great. We also checked out Maple Wall on the way out which is equally as nice, though not as developed yet. Tim, Laura and his son were there. Always nice to have such a wealth of local knowledge at your fingertips Hot, but beautiful day. By the way, Schoolhouse felt significantly cooler than Breakneck. http://www.flickr.com/...e-posted/2009/08/10/
