Heya all,
We've implemented RSS feeds across the the entire Rockclimbing.com. RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds that contain article or forum headlines, photo and video upload summaries, new route submission updates and links back to the full-text on Rockclimbing.com.
Some pointers:
- You can access our main RSS page from the footer of any page on the site.
From that page you can jump to the RSS page for any of the main sections on the site. You'll find a bunch of feeds on these section pages to subscribe to.
- You can access any section (like gear or routes) feed page by clicking on the "RSS Feeds" link next to the title of that section.
- You can get detailed feeds of any sub-category by browsing to a category at any level on the site, and looking for the feed links next to the category title.
Example 1: If you're interested in climbing updates relating to Joshua Tree National Park, then browse to that category in the routes database:
Routes : North America : United States : California : Joshua Tree National Park
Next to the title of the area you'll see feed links for "Routes" and "Ascents". Click on "Routes" to subscribe to a feed of all new routes added to this location. Click on "Ascents" for a feed of all new ascents recorded in this location. You can do this at any level in the database hierarchy, depending on how broad an area you want updates for.
Example 2: If you're interested in getting updates of new posts to the Bouldering Forum. Visit the forum and click on the RSS Feeds link next to the forum title. You can see a list of all forum feeds by clicking on the link on the main forum page.
You'll find a feed wherever you see the  icon on the site.
