To all who have responded here, and by PM, thank you, and my apologies for being incommunicado. I've been distracted by an illness in the family, and, well, enough about that.
Still new to climbing, still looking for someone with whom to get out on the rock.
I'm now belay certified for Urban Krag in Dayton, if you want to hook up there before deciding on whether to go into the woods with me.  [ETA: Just thought I'd say that's supposed to be a haha, j/k smilie, not a creepy looking smilie.] I've got enough gear for setting up a top rope, doing some sport (I've never been on the sharp end of the rope, although I have belayed a guide or two setting up a TR), and I'm working on the trad gear.
