I am so jealous! I slave away on my profile, updating it every 14 months or so and nobody sends me an e-mail professing their love. I must be broken.

So I'm beginning to think that Miss Ify might have just been spam. She hasn't sent me an e-mail back yet. Of course, the e-mail I sent her was nearly incoherent and not very romantic or even nice for that matter, but I still figured she's spend a little time to e-mail me back.

Luckly she did not found where I kept my fathers File which contains important documents. I managed to escape with the documents which covers my late father's deposited money totalling $6.5 M USD(Six million five hundred thousand US dollars). which he use my name as the next of kin. Meanwhile,I am still residing here as a refugee under the UNITED NATIONS COUNCIL FOR REFUGEES, i am saddled with the problem of securing a trust worthy foriegn personality to help me transfer the money from the bank pending my arrival in your country. I will like to see you face to face soon. Furthermore,on your wish you can contact the bank for confirmation and you can communicate directly with them regarding this fund of my late father which was deposited in their custody. I am giving you this offer as mentioned with every confidence on your acceptance to assist me retreive the money from the bank and transfer to your nominated account.I will like to further my studies as soon as i arrive to your country, please try to help me to achieve this goal as i have a desire to become a famous personality in the nearest future. I will be pleased if you can do this for me.You can reach me through this number (number removed) It is a Reverend Fathers phone number, by name Reverend Father John Dada and email (e-mail address removed) if you call, please ask of ify Oromo. When ever you call, try to tell him that you want to speak with ify Oromo,i am staying in the female hostel.I have already inform him, that some one will call me through his phone. L M F A O. That shit is fucking funny! [boring anecdote] By the way, you know that "arabian king" email that's been floating about, then one where he's going to give you a gizillion dollars? My brother was really bored one day (he's a fireman, so they sit around in the station and kill time) and got that email. So he email them back all like "yeah I'm all for it, I'll help you. But to make sure you're not a virus or something, send me a photo." So he recieved and email with a photo of some arabic dude, smiling. Then he was like "okay, but to extra sure, send me one where you're holding a piece of paper with your name on" So he did. THEN they were like"you could have googled that. Send us a photo of you, wearing a blue shirt and holding up a piece of paper with "sacrimento fire department 22's station RULES" on it". He sent the picture, they printed it, framed it, hung it on the station wall then told the dude to fuck himself.

YESYESYES! A perfect opertunity! Those pic's don't look alike, so say that you fear someone has just googled images for a hot chick or sommat, and found two that looked the same, and that you need more proof. Perhaps a sign saying "I [heart] Medicus" or something along those lines would be good enough for you, and you would be more than happy to go ahead with the transaction!!!

In reply to: Here is the contact of the bank to write them: Dr. Gerry Higgins, Director - Credit Administration Dept, Clydesdale Bank PLC, 35 Regent Street, Westminister,Haymarket, London, SW1Y 4ND. Email: payinfosncbankplc@luckymail.com @luckymail.com? Sounds legit to me. I mean, banks don't really make any money, so they probably can't afford to have their own email. In all seriousness, I'm not one to care for banks so much, but this is fraud in their name and if you are so inclined you could report it to them,

"I'm so glad to hear from you sweet Ify. I am okay and doing well in health today. I am very sad that you are in a refugee camp. I sincerely hope that within the next week, this will no longer be your story, and you will be on your way to get the rest of your money! I very much want to do this for you. I merely need one thing, and that is confirmation that you are who you represent. I am sure that you should be able to locate a marker and paper. Simply write "I [heart} medicus from rockclimbing.com Love, Ify" on a piece of paper and hold it in front of yourself when taking your picture. This would show me that you are genuine. I will enclose a picture of an example of this paper that you should hold in front of yourself. As soon as I get this picture, I will make the phone call to the bank and start working on this transfer to help you. Please help me help you! With Hope, Tony" Awaiting her/his/its next response

Sad news... she has no access in her refugee camp for a camera... even though she has already taken 3 pictures of herself "Honey i thank you so much , how are you i believed that your doing great may the lord continue guiding you for me OK. My love i received your mail with joy in my heart despite the condition that i am here today is only god that has the final say, i appreciate you so much because you are the only good thing that have ever happones in my life i can never share my love with any other man on this earth expect you and my love for you shall continue to the end of my life. Honey i have heard what you said concerning the picture but there is a problem , i am sorry to tell you this but i have to do because you are all i have for life no father , mother nor relation which means an orphan you know what it means , meanwhile as you can see i have no access to get the picture due to my condition here in the refugee camp , i need your assistance to get the picture any amount of money that you know that can be able to snap the picture and send it to you as you can see my condition here is not good i am suffering here if not for the help of god i could have been dead, i don't need going about asking people for money to snap a picture and send it to my beloved honey, so all you have to do send me any amount that you think that will be enough for the picture as you demanded ,and my love for you shall die , i love you with all my heart and soul , thanks i love you. Yours in love ify."

You are just to scared to have your heart broken and your money taken to commit to this program when you have no real evidence. Apologize for your lack of faith.

"Dear Miss Ify, I first must apologize. I am sorry that I am showing a lack of faith. Something just worries me about this whole thing. Right now I just can't trust this set up... not yet. I hope to very soon though. I just need a picture with what I said needed to be on it. Even if it is just a friend of yours from outside the refugee camp, I will be able to trust you. Like I said please help me help you. A picture will be enough evidence for me that this is real, and that this love is real. I just can't go on thinking I might be risking a heart break as well as lost money. I hope to hear from you soon, and I hope your next message will allow me to trust you fully, so that I can continue with this transaction. Thanks, Tony" There... now to play the waiting game again.

So Miss Ify hadn't contacted me back yet. I sent her an e-mail saying I was worried her refugee camp had been attacked or she had been kicked out and asked if she was ok. This is the response I get. "i am not OK why are you like this if you are not ready to help me please stop writing me , because i don't want to remember the past , you demanded of a picture i ask you to send any amount so that i will snap a picture all you does to refer me to a burden so i don't really understand your ambition on me bye. ify." I've already e-mailed her back... It's kind of funny, because the scamming spammer is getting annoyed with my e-mails now.

Maybe their buddy Price abudwabah told them about the new photo-game. :( it was well worth a try!!!!

Haha oh trust me, another reply was already sent before I took the time to post that here I told her this time that we obviously had had some failure in communication and that we were going to have to work together to understand each other since there was obviously a language barrier.

Lol, I knew that comment was going to happen. I don't care though, I was in a relationship (yes with a female) for 4 years, the last two of highschool and first two of college. Right now, living the single life has not been as bad as people make it out to be.

Hey guys,I'm new here. The reason I joined is because I got the same email Medicus got (only signed with a different name - not "Ify" but "patient",lol). I got a (poorly) translated verison as well (I'm from Poland) but I replied to it in english and now I'm getting "her" emails in both languages. I thought this is pretty fucking suspicious so I googled her email address and her "late daddy's" name and this site came up. I got the same sad story, and before that I got the same thing about how she likes my profile etc etc. I think I want IN on the fun and I wanna picture of her with a piece of paper and my name, lol. Any suggestions? I don't wanna write the exact same thing medicus did (so she won't get suspicous)but something like that.

I checked a couple of websites about scams after I got that email and I wanna have some fun with it. Me and my friend will probably send "patient" (what kinda name is this anyway..) or "ify" as you know her something later on today. Thanks for the reply!

Be tactical and slow. Say you are new to the internet, claim that you live in a national park and that they only just let the companies lay internet lines or something. Ask about her, and what she does. Make it conversational - don't go over the top cheesy. ask for pictures in the 5th or 6th email, then ask for more after two or more conversations. Say you understand if it's not really her in the pics, and that if it's a guy or whatever you don't care- you only want to help etc.etc. Should be good.

I checked this email again to see if it's the same girl on the pictures. Not really sure... I attached the pictures that "she" sent me.

My other friend suggested a different approach (in reply to the "How are you today together with your business" part). Here's what he wrote: "Make sure when you reply you ask for freaky stuff, like this "Hey baby, my company business is large and ready for a corporate take over on your Aston Martin, but less talky talky, more photo photo, I really like girls who cover themselves in fish oil, really hot, put me in the mood, please take photo with you in a pig mask, I like to Pig a lot, you send photo photo I send dollar dollar to help you be my 4th wife" " Not sure i wanna go THERE just now, though. I'll probably do it the way you suggested.

Here's what I sent her now: "Dear Patient, I'm doing good today in both business and family matters, thank you. Indeed, your mail came as a surprise, I'm really happy you liked my profile so much, though. I am so very sad to hear about your family. It is heartbreaking. I admit, I had no idea the situation in Sudan was so bad. I feel for you. I would very much like to help you, however I'm really new to internet. I write this from my job because it is the only place where I have internet connection. Since I don't have much experience in meeting people on the internet I would be happy if you could write a little more about yourself. Is it really you on the pictures? If it is,you look very pretty. Are they treating you well in the refugee camp? How are you doing there? Please tell me more about it and about yourself. I'm sorry, I can't make long distance calls from here so I'm afraid I can't call your friend Reverend Father John Dada. I hope this won't be a problem and for now we can communicate via email. Whenever I'm at work I will check my email and I'm looking forward to your next email. Yours sincerely, J."

Many years ago, my younger bro was badly in love with a Russian girl who said his dad was a security guard in some junk yard and she had to rid a bike 10 km every day to come to village and send an email. She send her photos and she was defiantly a 5.14 looking girl in top shape. This long distance love went on and on for a few months and my bro was about to send few hundred $ so she could take a train to US embassy to get her visa so she could join my bro but then suddenly same girl started sending me similar type emails with her photo and one day, I gave my bro the bad news that his on-gf was cheating on him. That fu*king bitc* abused me, if I ever see her blah blah blah….what is what my bro said and basically, he never responded to emails like that again.

May sound a little creepy but who cares. If I send this now maybe I'll get a better and more personal response soon. "Honey Buns, I would love to help you, and I feel very happy whenever I read your emails, but you still haven't answered any of the questions from my last email. How are they treating you in the refugee camp, Patient? Is everything fine? I can't stop worrying about you... Please tell me. Could you also send me some more pictures of you? The last ones were very small and I would love to have a better look at you. When we know each other better I promise I'll do my best to help you. I'm looking forward to your next email. Yours, J."

Yeah, but she DOES seem awfully fast. Even if I was a complete naive idiot I don't think I'd go to the bank after one day of writing with her, lol. From what I read about those scammers "she" should try a little harder to gain my trust etc. Don't think she'd quit sending emails to me just yet if I insist on more details from her crappy story. They'd never get anyone's cash with that attitude.

Ok,found more pictures of "her" here: http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=35866 It's the same girl that I got pictures of but with a different name. It must seem pretty weird that I got so involved in it after finding reading what you guys posted here and that I started posting here so randomly (and I don't even have anything to do with climbing etc - sorry guys!!). I think I kinda got jealous about the whole story with getting a funny picture to frame and hang on the wall,lol.... And I read about other scammers and it got me intersted, heheh. Of course, if you're completely not intersted in how this goes down I can just stop posting here if I'm being a pain in the ass for you guys, just let me know and I'll take it somewhere else:-)

Oh,thank you for the invite! Errr..I have no idea what your other post means, though. Sorry,it might be my limited english, it might be the fact that I'm not too "internet savvy" (sp?) or it might be that I'm just a complete noob on this site. The only meaning of "FTW" that I know of is "for the win" but I have no idea what the "PT" part would be and even if I knew I probably wouldn't get that post, lol. I better stay on this topic and not embarass myself anymore.
