i'm not all that sure why i'm up...had been thinking i was going to make myself a late night snack to help me sleep, but i got out of bed, went downstairs, and it's almost 5 a.m....i have to wake up around 7 anyways, so it just seemed pointless to go back to bed..i'll probably just end up crashing face first into my keyboard any minute... *and yes, VERY MUCH looking forward to going someplace where i'll probably be meeting 57 people or so...

I planted subliminal messages in my posts yesterday. It's usually a contest between Kate and myself as to who is up first. *you will wake up early*

Bedtime? What the hell is that? I haven't had one for over 10 years. My body likes to do what it wants to do. As a matter of fact, it's getting antsy, so I might just go out for a walk and ruin my knee a little more.

Some man. You laughed at my pee pee. Men don't do that. They understand two things: #1 You get what you get. #2 You never judge, point, or even look unless it's unavoidable. You need some man lessons. Okay, here we go. First, scratch something. Then adjust something. Sniff the finger that just was used to scratch and eat a sandwich with that hand. After this, open a beer (I don't care if it's 8am), clear your sinuses as loudly as possible. Now, make a joke about how huge your penis is, how well you did that broad last night, and lie about the fish you caught. Once you mastered step one above, well move on to steps 2 through 47, after which you will have to kill something in the name of humor...er...uh...sport.

**Tai quietly staggers in, bumping off the doorframe; grabbing the entire carafe of coffee, he pours it down his throat, then sits down and waits for the magic of caffeine...** Sorry, didn't get much sleep... not for any fun reason, either. *grumble* Might have been the fruit leather thongs; however, that wouldn't really explain the hangover feeling. * *grabs another cup, for sipping ** Ahhhhh... Thanks, Anne. I made some scones, this morning - orange-cranberry. Tai - had no cliimbing partner yesterday, and had to dodge climbers while bouldering

Morning, all. Far, far too early to be up this early. Still plenty dark on the mountains- can't even see 'em yet. Bit cooler today than the past few days, which is a damn good thing. Was almost 70F yesterday, and of course, I had to work. A couple of my students were trying to convince me to call in sick, then they'd skip school and we'd all go climbing. Little delinquents- I must be "raising" them right. Haven't seen you in a while, Anne- welcome back. This might be a very good day to make an extra pot of coffee or two... or five.

I'm definitely glad we're sticking with our original genders... I look really crappy in a dress, trust me, especially tight, neon pick ones. (It's a long story and has to do with my being a dj and club promoter at the time, so hush.) I'll have some eggs (over medium), bacon or steak (whichever is ready first), toast, orange juice, and coffee with cream and sugar, thanks.

Hey, now!! I don't look anywhere NEAR that hot! I don't even want to know where you find your pics, Anne. Oddest thing about wearing that outfit was that the dress was just tight enough to show off certain... parts... particularly since I didn't "tuck it in," shall we say. Got some interesting comments, too... no dates, though, which was probably a good thing, really.

I'm disappointed that I didn't get to talk Abe before he/she left. He/she is headed to some nice weather. The forecast for the coast is 73 and sunny today.

Grrrr.... I need to move to nicer weather. Though, it is pretty nice in Philly, I must admit. Gonna hit 50 today, and it's sunny. That's the best we northerners can hope for.

I think the flu he had affected his brain or something. I wish she would make up her mind, I wanna go ice fishing, but there isn't enough, and I already fell thru the ice enough for a lifetime.

I need help from all my coffee shop friends. I found a local tattoo palor that also does some airbrush painting. So I am thinking about getting my climbing helemt painted. So, here is where I need help. I am looing for design suggestions. I figured the coffee shop was the place to ask since interesting picutes are often on display in here.

I just finished reading Coach's post and I wondered to myself, what are they talking about rebooting problems. It does it sometimes, but wasn't a big deal. Then I tried to view the community list and it happened..... This site is bouncing around like a kid with ADD all hopped up in fun dip and mountain dew... bad website, bad.. now go and sit in the corner. I contacted Trevor about the problem and just got a PM back from him that they just bought 1 Gb of memory and once it is installed it should help alleviate the problem. He feels it is more an issue of the amount of activity rather than the size of the database and it should clear up with more memory. Climb On

I read the first two pages of this thing..and can not believe I didn't know all that was going to happen today! I would have tried to pull an early arrising if I had know this place was going to have all the fun in the morning! And Marmot's in trouble because he didn't tell me about howitzers idea! I have got to stop being responsible and getting work done..I miss way too much at theis place! And here I could have called up on my old roleplaying favorate from years back. The Ogre sized man covered in red hair who dances on and breaks the pub tables, who's beer mug is the keg and all while womanizing all the women at once! Damn...see the fun I missed!

Marmot and Danny, You guys are really taking me back a few years! I remember way back when I purchased new computers for our headquarters )1st generation 486's) and we thought we were the $#!&z! Had huge harddives (250 Mb) and unlimited RAM (16K)! Everyone kept telling us that we would never use it all up! Rule of thumb within the Communications/Information Systems field was that the requirement will always grow to use up all of the available hardware (and then some!). My first computer in the Corps was one of the early generation Zenith Supersports notebooks! Remember those? Had and amazing 4.8 Kb modem. When the finally offered the 9.6 we thought we were in heaven! My desktop model was an old 886 with a removable 120 Mb harddrive! Today my PDA makes all that stuff look silly! Climb On
