In reply to: Hey Halycon, I went to Utah in February to ice climb. Do you ice climb? Actually, I don't. I'd like to, but I have not the fundage to do it. Not only that but my mom has a hard enought time when I'm on rock, she'd freak if I asked to go ice climbing.

I had to work like crazy to fund the trip. I climbed in Provo and Little Cottonwood canyon. As I am the only climber in my family, my parents are ignorant of the perceived dangers that pop up when you know a tiny bit about it. I was careful, though...

Ugghh... just got back from running; it's 38 and windy and I was wearing shorts and an underarmour... I can barely type... Wow, even more Okies. Yes we need a teen room. We probably have many more teens than when the old room crashed and burned. Anybody want to start a petition?

My name is David, I'll be 17 in four days, I live in Asheville, NC, and I'm a new climber. I travel a lot(I recently moved back to the US after living in Jerusalem, Israel for three years; this was one of six moves I've made in my life), so I've never really been able to root myself in sports. Climbing seems to be a great solution to that problem, there are gyms all over the place, and the earth is filled with rocks. This seems like a pretty cool place, I'm a forum addict, so I should stop by pretty often. Peace.

I'm 26, which means I'm not a teenager technically. But I hate technicalities, so damn it, I am a teenager, especially when I climb. Plus I smoke too much weed and listen to more music then all of you put together, which I guess makes me an even teener teenager than you guys. Ahhh...sorry, I guess I just wish I was 16 again. enjoy it. cheers S.

Alpinerock, I was talking about February 2003. It is a great route, though, isn't it? Unfortunately, when I was there only the first two pitches were in.
