*utterly* stupid crap on a cycling forum. i asked if the regular monday night ride went through shitty neighborhoods always, or just sometimes. (after several threads mentioned ppl getting ROCKS thrown at them on a "weekly" basis.) mass ensuing hyperbole, starting with me being called an elitist and a racist and concluding with "if you want a safe ride, lock your doors and spin in your living room." its like you know what, nevermind.

What idiot repeats a ride on a route where they have rocks thrown at them weekly?!!

no fucking idea. apparently its an "organic" ride, aka, nobody is the official leader and they make it up as they go every week. so i don't think it was actually the same route/neighborhood, but a several diff ones. still, not an unreasonable question for way overblown responses.

But we love you. Come back from the edge. Don't jump. Here, let me tie this knot around your waist.

I don't and I'd venture to say you probably don't either. At least that makes 2 of us. ;) Sorry to hear about the idiots Clausti. F**k 'em - they sound like jack*sses.

I got the permabanz on a triathlon forum several years ago, it was a blast. A few years ago I posted a story about fucking with the bike trail "Lance's" and pissed off the entire Velonews forum. Probably because all these guys were the bike trail "Lance's" I know cyclists and from experience I can tell you that they are mostly a bunch of high strung fucksticks. Worse than climbers, hands down.
