If Glenn knows about his grandfather and is choosing not to respond, one would think that Jay would pass that message along instead of not saying anything. Right now, it just seems Jay is a real jerk.

if you know where he works, someone should go down and just speak to Glenn in person. Then his SOB boss would be SOL.

sushislayer and communitylove have the right attitudes here. Maybe Jay is a jerk, maybe Glen has reasons for not returning home, who knows. Just aspire to be a better person and when you call Jay, please be civil. Negative attitudes breed negative attitudes, so stay positive. I pray this will all work out if only for Glen's grandfather's sake.

That's an interesting point we may need to consider, CLove. And I agree with the civility sentiments. I apologized in my second message and made a more coherent appeal. [ This Message was edited by: up2top on 2003-01-09 23:14 ] [ This Message was edited by: up2top on 2003-01-10 20:40 ]

no i have not spoken with glenn. but i know him, and he is very private person. as long as this sticks to trying to find him okay, but the second you start to speculate on what he is thinking and what he is doing you will offend him. and all of this care and concern will hurt him in the end. i do know that some of his best freinds have the information (i spoke to one of them last night) and it WILL get to him eventually. don't start pushing buttons. it would be so sad if this created bad feelings between glenn and his family or ammon. if glenn's boss is such an asshole, what makes you think he won't get mad about the harrassment and take it out on glenn. come on you guys. don't let this end on a bad note. what happens between glenn and his family, or glenn and his boss is really none of your business. i know everyone wanted to hear a happy ending to this story. doing good is about the satisfactionof doing it, not about the results or praise. p.s. don't leave rude messages, don't call to apologize, don't call at all. there is NO good that will come of it [ This Message was edited by: communitylove on 2003-01-09 23:54 ]

I have to agree with CLove about not calling Jay at all. IF he's a jackass, he will not pass any messages on to Glenn and IF he has a good heart, we can be sure he already has. Calling a jerk and harassing him will not change who he is. If he's not a jerk he has already done the right thing then harassing him for things he is not guilty of isn't cool. I think perhaps other ways of reaching Glenn should be explored.

Friday evening here at India..."The Hunt for Glenn" is still onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn... Folks, with all these fantastic efforts so far, lets not deviate our attention to something else, to something we might not know. Keep hope alive, Ammon+Carta and Glenn's family.

In reference to things stated on pages 18 and 19, I disagree. Firstly, there may be some infringement of privacy if people are doing so, unless that number is a business number. However, harrassment can still come into play. Still, the chances of tracking anyone down, especially with random calls coming in from all over the country is nearly impossible. However, the old saying goes "You catch more flies with honey", or something like that. If anyone has been calling this "Jay" person and being rude, they probably should get a swift blow to the head. This is Glenn's family, not ours. It is their responsibility, not ours. All we should be doing is help find Glenn. Not his boss. Still, if someone is to call "Jay", then make sure you start with an apology, state your case and concerns, and if he's still apathetic, then there is nothing "we" can do. Remember, how would you feel if strangers started calling you and telling you that you had to send an employee home? It's a little odd, at best. Find Glenn, not Jay. Jay will make his own decisions on whether he comes home or not. Let's show the love and help find Glenn. Furthermore, I move that the phone number be deleted. Steve
