Hey Vince, how's it going? It's cool that someone finally started a Colorado Springs thread. Who's climbing tomorrow (Saturday)? All my regular partners are busy--does anyone want to go to Shelf? Or anywhere else for that matter?

Heather, I cant do anything on Saturday but we are going to Elevenmile on Sunday. It is going to be my girlfriend and me, plus we are taking a beginner, so we will be on easy stuff. Let me know if you are interested. In case you were not aware, it is going to be  DAMN HOT  at Shelf this weekend, then again its always hot down there this time of year. (This is Chris in case you have no idea :) )

Hey Chris, It's good to hear from you! I already made plans to climb at Cheyenne Canyon Sunday afternoon, otherwise I would definitely join you at Elevenmile. I need to do some more easy trad leading!

VIIIIIIINCE! So this is where you been hiding...... We all miss you here in Denver! haven't seen you since the PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME dance. Oh, I still need my horn back. I guess that means a day of climbing down in your neck of the woods? Not a problem. I mean, what good is a driver from New York without her horn!?!?!?!!???? Hi to Jill and the kids for me :)

If I were closer, I would certainly make the climbing/drinking/streaking things you guys have going on in Boulder Canyon. http://llamabutchers.mu.nu/...ives/Darth-Vader.jpg BTW: I don't have your horn, I don't why you're asking me! Vince

Just caught this thread. I have an irregular schedule so I need more partners to get out with as most of my regulars have real jobs. I like sport but prefer trad. My leading really depends on the rock. Stuff at red rocks I can usually pull off moderate 10's, trad and cracks are a different story but I'm game for anything.

I am currently visiting in Colorado Springs from WV from today through 6-26 and will be looking to get out with someone who knows the area. Red Rocks area looks intriguing. Many seem to thing GOG is polluted with tourist (hey I'm a tourist!) but I am largely at the mercy and whim of whoever is game. I have led a good deal (Trad) at my home crag of Seneca Rocks, WV up to a grade of 5.7 (stiff locally) and have followed to 5.9 (most recently a Devil's Tower, WY. Interested parties PM or post here. Regards, Mark

I am thinking of heading to Colorado Springs next week. I am in the Buena Vista/Salida area now and may meet a friend in CS on Weds. I would like to stay and climb through the weekend. (Thurs 6-22 thru Sunday 6-25 or beyond) I am open to climb wherever, GOG or REd Rock Canyon, you name it. shoot me an e-mail or a PM (pref email) if you are interested in meeting up. I am up for sport or trad. I have a good amount of gear. ZAC

Hi there. I`m a climber that has just relocated from New Orleans and I`m desparetly looking for someone to climb with here in CO Springs. I`ve been climbing for 16 years mostly in the southeast. My favorite is sport climbing and bouldering and I max out at 13a/v8, but I`ll get on anything/any grade.I`m really interested in going to Shelf. I`m an RN so my schedule is very flexible. Anybody going to Shelf for Laborday? Thanks alot. Jeff
