I'm sure something similar will pop up again. Some more training gear should come up soon.

I'm tempted, but a hundred bucks worth of holds and no clue what I'm getting is a bit scary. I'm also pretty sure I got pissed at one of the guys from woody's for spamming before and swore I'd never buy anything from them ;)

I dunno, $100 in holds isn't *THAT* scary (as long as it's from a company with a good history!). A bunch of people have ordered them. To be honest I don't even know what's going in them - but Woodys has done great by us so far. Same day shipping on a lot of their gear, some great deals on their products, plan on it being worth the $100 and then some. Rumor has it he's going to "stack the deck" on some of them too but I'm sworn to secrecy!

I didn't pull the trigger on the holds, but I couldn't resist the Kong Ghost... not that I need another belay device, or that it's a particularly good price, but it just looks cool.

Yeah, I kinda like the looks of it, reminds me of the BD-ATC Guide...that's a good thing. Looks pretty useful overall!

OK, I bought 2 of them. I'll toss them in the basment with the 4 DMM Bugettes I bought on sale last month. Coincidentally, the local gear store called when I was online at the time buying them and said some other needless stuff I'd special ordered (1/2" hangers) had just arrived AT THAT VERY MOMENT, and a buddy was standing there, figured this all out, bought some of the hangers himself for a project he is working on right now, and is bringing my stuff over tonight and picking up some 1/2" diameter Stainless steel wedge anchors from me that I'd bought earlier this year (or last year) more needless gear. Point is: I've almost archived hall of fame "Gearwhore" Status. Anything else anyone needs me to buy, if it's gear of any sort: speak up now cause I'm on a roll.

billcoe_ wrote: Yawn........ old news, got em already. *cough* gearwhore* cough* Hmmm.. Got Ballnutz? Hey, if you wouldn't mind - let me know when you get those ghost belays please. I like to keep a finger on the pulse of my shipping. I couldn't possibly keep up with it myself so I contracted a fulfillment house for what I can't drop ship.
