Great line of thinking. One draw back though. No support. Find a way to overcome that and you'll make millions.

Good line of thought, but what about this one: develop a whole industry of shoe-custom-makers who get 3d models of the wearer's individual feet, get preferences on stiffness, lacing, etc. then plug-and-play custom (not customized) parts together to get the exact shoe. we could charge 500 a pair and make a decent profit off every pro who might be able to use them to their full capability and an even bigger one off all the beginners who could learn more footwork trying to send the wall in nikes.

Liquid Climbing Shoes??? first of all before you even think of doing this make sure you are alone to test it so you dont get wired looks. secon you need to make sure to shave your feet prior to application, other wise it was hurt like a BEEEeeeoooootch to take them off. . and if you do feel confident to tell others about it start with close climbing partners.
