when i set a route where you go through and under your arm, so you end up back-to-walll, many older, inflexible climbers make up all kinds of excuses as to why they can't do it, due to their body size, etc. ps- what's a dropknee? sorry if this sounds stupid, but noone i climb with knows. Inch-and-a-quarter thumbcams in limestone pockets come in handy when you're pumped, especially when the bottom of the pocket is shiite...

[breathing life into ancient and decaying thread] Using my ridiculously long legs to heel hook my way into using my freakishly-long wacky-plastic-man-monkey reach to gracefully milk a hold that would be a dyno to anybody under 6'2". Not so good on the ol' figure 4 though. Longish stems on dihedrals are fun, but my legs pump too quickly to do it for long.
