40 years 10/25 I have a teenage grandson 13. Have taken him climbing a few times. Taught him to climb on toprope and rapell.

In reply to: Hey Halycon, I went to Utah in February to ice climb. Do you ice climb? Actually, I don't. I'd like to, but I have not the fundage to do it. Not only that but my mom has a hard enought time when I'm on rock, she'd freak if I asked to go ice climbing.

I had to work like crazy to fund the trip. I climbed in Provo and Little Cottonwood canyon. As I am the only climber in my family, my parents are ignorant of the perceived dangers that pop up when you know a tiny bit about it. :twisted: I was careful, though...
