i would, at this point, like to point out jburke for his *hem hem* sterling work in the climbing photography world. 30 of his last 32 photos have been shots of buildings, with such epic names for various "routes" as "crimpy corner" or "crack and chimney wall". i mean come on, you DO live in florida, but you obviously climb on rock (there's photos of him doing that there too) so why not post proper photos? my personal favorite would have to be http://www.rockclimbing.com/...to_show.php?id=74741

ditto some sort of Gollum comment. climbing probably has its share of LOR geeks (personally, I love it). but what about that fake rapelling scene in the Two Towers? you know, where Frodo and Sam are going down that elf rope and making rapelling motions? I think that's funny as hell: "What should we do as we go down the rope Peter Jackson?" "I don't know, make some climber-type motions..." also, I think we're all guilty of climbing a fireplace or two here.

[quote="atpeaceinbozeman"]*the first two are just rad. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=61784 I MADE IT, I MADE IT!!! WHOOOPEDEEDOOO! I'd like to thank everyone for looking at my picture, and a special thanks to atpeaceinbozeman for posting it in this thread. Thanks to all the rc.commers who kept this thread going long enough for my special picture to be here. Thanks to my mom and dad, and a special thanks to MG for posing on rappel and suggesting the rappel in the first place. I am now complete as a person. You hate me; you really really hate me. OK actually that pic was posted more for the memories of good times with fellow rc.commers (monkmiller5.10, lunchbox, rockwindwater, and myself) than it was for any Ansel Adams kind of thing. But all joking aside, I am really quite proud to have one of my pics in the 'Worst Photos' thread. It is really kind of cool

hey everyone-new here but not to climbing. somewhat of an off request- if you have ever purchased a pair of climbing shoes from ebay this will interest you. ebay has now eliminated the footwear section in the climbing category. one must NOW browse through over 10,000 'athletic shoes' in order to try & find somethint suitable. i have purchased many pairs here and save tons of $$$, most often for less than the cost of a resole. the email address to let them know how senseless this move was is: http://cgi1.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll they must think climbing is that popular of a sport... ~i

Ebay addresses start with ebay. There is nothing before the ebay word. I got this info from the ebay site a long time ago and can't really remember for sure. What's the point of your post? Why don't you go fuck off now.
