For awl I noes he still up there bushwacking thru teh PO looking fer me. Awesome. Hey, poison oak, does that look a lot like poison ivy? PO and PI kinda look similar. Both grow in three leaf clusters. PO has a more jagged, oversized oak leaflike shape and PI is a more rounded smoother shape. Both turn pink/ red in teh fall and is leaf less but still poisonous in teh winter. Course I'm know plant expert... but I noes what both look like with or without teh leaves. Still, I'm more familiar with PO cuz it is what we has owt here in sokat. There are a lot of plants down in WV that look like PI, but their leaves are more jagged. Looks enough like PI that we steer clear, even though it doesn't quite look like PI. wild strawberries? are delicious. PG and I found some in WV on tuesday

That said, I was sad to see the swordmaster die. I wuz only sad for teh little tomboy daughter who was stopped in the crowd... I would have liked to see her poke the executioner through teh heart with her spike.

Almost got rain this weekend. Yesterday the storms slipped to the south though. Bugger! Spent the weekend tilling and leveling the back yard. Holy crap my back and shoulders got a workout... freakin sore today. Next week is time for the sodding grass. Today is time for a beer though. Funny how just one day can make you one whole year older.

Climbed for the first time in about 6 weeks yesterday with Cookie and Mike up at Wild River. Struggled hard on a couple of burns on Big Red - which I flashed last year. Also got on some cool line to the right of it. Sailed with Caleb when we got back to town and anchored for a BBQ, which was awesome.

Sailing sounds like fun about now. I need to find someone with a boat and head to Lake Amistad.

Questions for the Tacoma owners. If I wanted to get a Taco are there any years I should steer away from and how old is too old? Also, to attach a camper, which model is best for room... Regular cab, Access cab, Double cab?

Also, to attach a camper, which model is best for room... Regular cab, Access cab, Double cab? I like my Gen 1 Taco (2002) a lot, don't really have a complaint. I thought the Gen 2s looked funny when they first came out, but I got used to them and think they look pretty slick now. The motor in Gen 2 is a big improvement. I don't care for all the extra fluff that comes with it as they stray farther and farther from the T100. I’m also not sure if Gen 2 gets better gas mileage as it’s a lot bigger then Gen 1. It’s going to come down to personal preference: Gen 1: Smaller, simpler, cheaper, proven reliability Gen 2: Better motor, bigger, more luxury frills There’s no debate when it comes to cabs, IMHO… but the fact that they make 3 types shows that people prefer different things. My first truck was a regular cab, and I’ll never own one again. The extracab doesn’t add on much length, but it gives you storage space. And as a black man, I need space for my subwoofer. I don’t care for doublecabs, and I think the backseat of Tacoma’s are prohibitively uncomfortable. But if you want a truck and need it to hold more than 2 people, I guess the choice is made. It makes the bed too short to sleep in, unless you get an extra-long bed.
