I'm not sure what you mean in the way that I messed up the folding, but I'm way bummed that the book fell out. shit. You gays still use books huh? How archaic. Anyone reading Hayduke Lives as an ebook should be flatrocked. There are so many better Abby books out there.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to steal a copy of MWG oft teh internets in time so I was stuck reading some Douglas Adams and miscellaneous stuff I put on there. But I vow to read Hayduke Lives on my Nook. I believe the Kindle is far superior. So did I, and the gnu $114 price on the Kindle 3 is what got me in the door looking at one of these things in the first place. Then I saw the gnu gnu Nook Touch. The Landlord brought the K3 on the trip so I was comparing the two. They both have the same screen, but mine is touch sensitive and doesn't have the stupid keyboard. It's also lighter, more compact, longer batter life (not that it matters), and an expansion slot for up to 32 gigs - basically the library of congress. And it's touch sensitive. So neener neener neener. I was thinking more because of the amazon store and one-touch and how it's just more universal in e-book lending. But that sounds cool too. I just steal shit off the internets.

I just installed one more bookshelf in my office, and have a new batch of freebies arriving in the mail any day now! Lots of plot inconsistencies when read back to back with MWG. Abbey knew he was terminal when he wrote it, and implied at times that he was pretty much writing the book to secure his youngest daughter's financial future. Still, all the jabs at hippies and Earth First!ers are fun to read.
