Then, as I was hanging after the whipper, Drivel announced that I had dripped blood on her. You were able to try it a 3rd time? Yeah, 3rd time was the charm; only time I've tried it that much in a day. (DETAILED RUNDOWN AHEAD, TLDR) It was a low expectation send, I did not have high hopes for a third go. My new beta of the big deadpoint to the ringlock that I figured out last week was working really well, and was way fun, but it stretched me out enough that it was tough to keep the core tension for the final two locks before the foot kickover. When my finger ripped open for the 2nd go, I thought it was over and that I'd be dragging peeps out there again next weekend for more of the same shit, and endlessly spraying about how I "almost sent." The third run was just to get my draws off the top, I was trashed, and dribble was totally psyched about having just sent this sketchball Rp seam (emphasis on the R). Climbed up to the ledge, then when I stood up to place my first high green camalot off a good handjam, I tore another spurting gobie in my right hand. Climbed back down to the ledge, sat there, packing solid chunks of chalk into the bleeding mass until it stopped. About that time, a guy from another grupe walked over to gaze up at the awesomeness of WTOK. Apparently dribble knew what an attention ho I am, and told him to stick around for a couple minutes to motivate me to try harder. Cruised every move perfectly, felt super fresh on the bloody ringlock where I placed my last .4 camalot. Right hand rattly thumbs up fingerlock, high left foot in a divot, and fired to the left ringlock. Kept the tension by toeing in a higher right foot, crossed up to the last rattly right fingerlock, and as it started sliding out, I dropped my left knee, turned into the wall, and this managed to keep me on just enough. Dribble yelled "scream, it will tighten your abs!" so I did. Reached up left to the finally bomber lock, kicked feet over to the Brontosaurus Wall. Foot behind the rope, gear about ten feet below me. Pressed down on the rattly right lock into a sort of mantle, reached hard left, and caught the salvation handjam. Then screamed some more. Had to just sit at the anchors and calm myself down I was so giddy. Lowered, did the pain in the ass cleaning of gearz, got to the ground, sent a few sprayograms to people who had hiked up to belay me on it over the years. Went to Miguel's for a celebratory pizza and to proclaim my gloriez, but couldn't find anyone who carez'd. that's awl.

I just saw on the narc that Sasha DiGiulian did Pure Imagination out at the Chocolate Factory. GG, Snoop and I were out there Wednesday. We warmed up before heading over to the Lode. Pure Imagination had the petzl logo draws up, and 3(!!) fixed lines hanging from it, with bosun's seats stashed at the base. Someone else must have been working it. Sasha seemed psyched to look at it, pretty rad she sent it so quick.
