In reply to: The weather's warmer, days are longer, and climbing season is in full swing at many crags. What's on your tick list for this summer? The funny part about this thread is that it assumes that Summer is your climbing season. I just had my last weekend in J-Tree and will have to wait until August or September to go back and have the joy of jamming my hands into sharp cracks!!!

this makes me sad. As of may 12, my climbing season ends. I have to leave beauitiful colorado and go home to sweaty houston texas for the summer. It will be 3 long months climbing in a gym primarily devoted to brithday parties for five year olds  Even making it outdoors at all will require a 3 hour drive and braving 100 degree heat in austin (with my non existant houston partners). I suppose my goal is to be flashing 12s in the gym and redpointing 13s. Until then, the game is on  My realistic tick list in colorado: Grapefruit dance at Garden of the Gods 5.12b- just need to link up that one last move 8^) Any multipitch trad route 5.9 or harder Otto's route on Independence monument 5.9 learning to Aid climb My dream/long term tick list: Undercling traverse at Ute Valley V8- I can do all but one move- maybe it will happen :D The example at shelf road 13a Medium Boy on the tall boy pinnacle 13a

I recently went to Obed and Stephen King's Library was the best. I TR'd Pet Cemetary, which goes at .11a. It took me a while, but i got the moves wired down. I would love to go back and lead it over the summer, and in fact, that's my plan.

Ride the Lightning @ Pawtuckaway, v6 Pyramid Power @ Rumney, v8 oddly enough the v8 seems more easily do-able...

I don't have a tick list. I will pick one or two routes in an area I want to visit to hit first, but that's the extent of it.
