Not mine... Come to think of it I don't have a slogan. I heard this one once when the climber asked the belay-er if it was safe to climb... "Yup! I'm glued screwed and tattooed!"

Sometimes we'll rope up and stand there staring at the climb. Something is said along the lines of "well, shit...we're not going to live forever are we?" From there, it's all uphill.

If your not falling then you are not climbing hard enough!! For me this pertains to bouldering, not that it can't pertain to other forms of climbing but I am a boulderer through and through, and I also don't mean to say that climbing problems below your top level is bad and I absolutely love having fun and climbing a bunch of easier problems but you have to find the balance between that and working harder stuff that is just barely within, or even better, just outside your limit. I think that at the heart of every true boulderer is the love of throwing yourself at a problem over and over and over and, well you get the picture. But as long as you are having fun it does not matter if you are pushing your physical and mental limits or cruising around on some easy stuff. Mostly just climb!! Matt

When ever me and my pal are indoor climbing she belays her boy friend. Since he is heavier than her I must act as an anchor so whenever she needs me she says "Hey! look I come with a nifty lil handle!"

Maybe only fellow Canadians will know this one, but mine is from the movie Fubar: "Sometimes you just gotta fuckin' give 'er, eh!" And a close second: "Get 'er done"
