I'm back! Had a lot of fun, but we didn't get to summit. There was too much snow and ice / not the proper gear for that. No one we saw that day summit ed either, but I guess a guided group did the day before... Then we went to mammoth and hiked and relaxed... I think the BF wants to move to mammoth now

Haven't really been climbing lately, car crash and stuff, so now that it's fall, and I'm recovered, time to start training... I guess. Went climbing a couple weekends ago, was nice to get back on my feet again. Still could get up about the same grade as before, but my endurance has gone away, or so it seemed (perhaps it was the 95 degree weather). So hopefully I can get back up to par again and climb strong :D Oh, and I recently spent some time reading some ofmy old posts, and find it funny how I talked, how much of a little ass I sounded like, how much I sprayed, etc... :P Don't know how anyone put up with me back then :D -Wolfgang Hey its Wolfy. *waves* Sounds like UR better after the crash, hopefully not too badly banged up by it. Truck looked beat up.

Don't know weather to laff or cry.

But in a couple months it looks like rotating graves and 4am wake ups.

Unfortunately I don't think any pictures got taken. I haven't down loaded the cards yet. But apparently the wife was about to get out the camera and take some shots of me at the top of Sunday's climbing, when I lowered off. She was somewhat down the crag from where we were climbing. But the long lens would have gotten a couple good shots. Sew. In addition 2 the little bit of klimbink we do the turon stuff. We visited Bodie Ghost town, and the old mines in Mammoth. Which is a pretty cool tour. Still a fair amount of buildings there. The mines are locked up of course. Word was the mines got .6 oz of Gold for every ton of rock pulled out. We scouted around and ran into a family starting to rework their claim. We found several rocks with tiny tiny flakes of gold in them. We did devils postpile and other general sight seeing. Meet up with several different freinds that were in town. Basically just relaxed. Got the 450+ pics uploaded to da computer last night. The wife got some good pictures of Jake climbink. (but not me ) She got lots of good scenery and ghost town pics. Eye will has to put some of them on da face book. 450! Thank the lord for digital cameras. Post a pic or two of that ghost town, eh. RU able to c my pics on da Facebook?

The Hilton Creek/Crowley Lake communities always look nice when I drive by.
