My vote goes to George W. Bush! (Don't vote if you are not or will not be 18 years old by November.) To the admins: Is there a way to put voting buttons on the screen that people can click on to keep a running tally? And also a feature to make sure that each person can only vote once? I would like people to also be able to change their vote if they wish since this will be an ongoing poll. Is there anyone that can make this happen? Bush 1 Kerry 0

In reply to: Isn't there a way you can install a poll into a thread? Any of the Community Mods can do it. I can only add polls to my forums.

In reply to: Are people from other countries allowed to vote? Good question. They probably can and in that case, the outcome will be skewed. We all know of Kerry's popularity in Eurabia.

In reply to: Are people from other countries allowed to vote? I can't hardly stop you from casting your vote. Actually, it would be interesting to have the entire climbing community from around the globe to vote just for kicks. And as for all you young kids, your opinion is valuable too, so you might as well participate too if you want to. It might even encourage a few of you to register to vote when you are of legal age. This is all just for fun anyway, and it will be interesting to see the results as time goes on. Especially, once the televised debates get going!

There's no way to stop anyone from casting their vote, so I think it is silly to say that those under 18 cannot vote. Geez, we even had mock elections back when I was in 3rd grade....it's all just in fun. In the same vein, there's no way to stop those who would be "otherwise uneligible" to vote in the real world (nationality, emeny of the state, etc...) from voting in the rc.com mock elections. So why not allow everyone to participate.... Besides, those who are using troll aliases will get to vote more than once....

More importantly: "Bush got 52 percent support over 41 percent for Kerry among 926 likely voters surveyed nationwide in an Aug. 31-Sept. 2 telephone poll. The margin of error is 4 percentage points. Independent candidate Ralph Nader got 3 percent in the poll, which will be published in Time magazine's Sept. 6 issue." (Bloomberg) This was before Bush's speech, and most agree it was a knockout.

I chose none of the above as I'm French. Please don't vote for Bush. Your country deserves another President.
