fwiw, I've been climbing on max cams for about 6 months now. I like them far better than Camalots. Can't give you any feedback on how they (or Camalots, or Aliens, or DMM quadcams, or Stregor Titanium cams) hold in falls, because I prefer to avoid airtime when possible. I've had no problems with any of the above mentioned cams walking. Kudos to Malcolm for fielding a stellar product! Brutus

In reply to: I'm out of the office 'till 4/10 but if you email me at mdaly@trango.com I'll arrange to get you some to try when I get back. There's a profound correlation between skeptics--virtually all you haven't actually used them--and fans--who actully have used them. Follow the threads on this site and you'll see. Mal Damn, if I bad mouth your product, does that mean I get some free goodies too? I have played with them from friends racks, and personally I don't much care for them. I just don't like the feel of the asymmetric stem. That said, they look like nice cams and have a good range. I use forges and old camalots in this range and I doubt I'll upgrade any time soon. Old dog, new tricks.
