Well, if you are really talking about 3 bomber pieces, I wouldn't spend any time at all equalizing them. Depending on whether they were in a straight line or spread out, I would use a series of clove hitches with the rope to clip in. The piece that is furthest away I might tie a double figure 8 in the rope to clip in with.

If the pieces are spread out, but not too far away, I might clip in directly with a sling or two.

It also depends on whether I am standing on a big ledge or hanging.
