Why Dingus I'm not quite sure I follow you, whatever could you mean? Pitbulls don't bother me, it's the animals on two legs that one should watch out for! Most of them anyway... Peace, GH

Grovehunter...you'd be way more rad if your name was Groovehunter. Not that you aren't rad enough as it is...but one can always seek to attain higher levels of radness, don't you think? Groooooovehunter. Superrad. -Kate.

Believe me Kate I'm always on the hunt for groove! As far as rad and groovy are concerned, they are only a state of mind, not of physical being. I am a tree freak, hence the name Grovehunter. I am still amazed at the giant Sequoia after seing 30 of the top 40 largest trees in the world. Of the sixty seven known Sequoia groves I've been to thirty - four of them. So it's Grovehunter, copy that. Now isn't that groooovy raaaaaaaad? Peace, GH

 Is it the height or the girth that you find impressive? I am more a fan of girth, myself. ;) Carry on, groovy grove guy! -Kate.

Lost summer i was in josua on vacation(yes i now its was hot...). The only climbers i have seen there were climbing really good but. This guy climbed up some 5.11 ore something and was making a big run out. After the first pitch he only climb like 5 meters up. Places 2 cams in a crack and climb all the way up . If he did failed it was a f*cking grounder way didn't he put any more cams .... ??is this a standard way of climbing over there?here in Europe it isn't any way...

In reply to: In reply to: In reply to: If fish could talk, is this how they would react whenever somebody taps on the aquarium glass? I think Hillary is the funniest person I know. MY question is, have all the gumbies quit going to New Jack? I went there on Sunday and there was a very minimal supply of n00bs available for our entertainment. Whereas, in JTree on Saturday, they were all out in show. When did trad climbing become trendy? I saw a girl in JTree last weekend carrying her gear around in an REI shopping bag. I don't get it. Meg Then again, you wouldn't let me give you a waist belay on Big Mo. Gumby is as Gumby does. Hahahaha. Curt For her it was the foot belay or nothing, am I right?

And at the end of the day girth rules, Don't ya think Kate? You should come and find out for yourself though. You might change your mind or it might even blow it!! Peace, GGH

I don't know how to put quotes, but if I did, this one would have a quote from Dingus where he said "the pitbull would lung at me" I was just wondering, how does a pitbull lung? Is that another way of saying he would bark? I don't know, we were talking about spelling and stuff...

In reply to: You maybe encountered 5%, at the most, of the climbers at Jtree. How could you possibly make a hypothesis about all climbers at Jtree on a given day... Statistical inference? Or is this another of those damned trick questions? -Jay

I did have something to say, rather than click a couple buttons I put the quote on the old fashioned way, you know with quotations marks. Anyways, I wasn't too serious, I just thought it was humerous because your post was about spelling and while technically it wasn't a spellling error, it was the wrong word. Calm down, I'm not belittling you or anything. People get too worked up on this site.

I know it wasn't about spelling... it was about pitbull attacks. My brother in law got bit by a pitbull once.

I am probably in that 50% that doesn't know what he is doing. On sunday I almost tossed my rope down before I realized I needed it to rap. I guess I could have down soloed since it was an easy 5.9 on Moose Dog Tower. I make more mistakes like that than you would think is possible. Sure I can lead 5.10 & 5.11 in J-tree but I somehow loose my brain once I top out  Be easy on me ok. I am a life long gumby.
