If you are really worried about the integrity of your key biner, my suggestion is to replace it immediately. You can never be too sure about these things. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd never use a biner that I had any question as to the integrity of. "better safe than sorry" as they say. Also, and of no less importance, if you value the security of your keys on such a keyring, you may wish to consider changing to a locking biner, as key security is of no small importance. With a locking biner, preferably a massive screwgate, you can rest assured that no keys, not even those oversized Audi keys, will manage to slip their way out.

the only stupid question is the one you do not ask... stupid answers, now that's a whole 'nother horse here at rc.com :D... (serious answer - I'd be more worried about the thing getting ganked in the agitation portion of the wash cycle than anything else...you could always test it to failure and post the results here - might be a fun way to spend an afternoon...)
