There is nothing like a great summit shot of you and your buddies throwing a classic double victory "V", or even the downward Hans & Frans Flex.
While surfing the Inet, I came across this awe inspiring group of summit posers.

Lets see some of your great summit shots!

me and the partner have always wanted to do a darth vader vs luke pose on a summit, both of us crudely dressed up and duking it out with Big Bro light sabers

I might be more dramatic if you went at it with Ice tools and crampons though

The shape of whatever gear that is behind your head made me go, "wait, is that a keg tap?" for a brief, hilarious second.

Anybody have a link to the old summit photo styles page? That thing was great

For pure WOW this shot Burl took of a hawk on the summit of Lassen with Shasta in the background is outstanding.
http://img360.imageshack.us/...0/hawkonledge9lb.jpg

For the "I feel like I'm there" view from the top of north peak:
http://img38.imageshack.us/...akRCouloirSummit.jpg

But the absolute best summit shot I ever took was of my blood brother Angus after he soloed Eichorn and did a head stand on the summit, our very own 'lose your dreams, lose your mind' shot (but with no hidden rope)
http://img53.imageshack.us/...EichornHeadStand.jpg

Those are the only good ones I have digitized or handy at the moment.

Cheers

Heres a couple of my favorites.

And the summit of Point 4727. There still some peaks unnamed in the Chugach.

Hey! That's Eagle and Symphony lakes right? So is that Cantata you're on?
I should be back next year and hope to do a couple peaks in the south fork, probably Calliope and Eagle peaks but I'd have to look at maps to remember for sure.

In a bizarre stroke of fate that the Access Fund and AAC could never have foreseen, a giant hawk ate Mt. Shasta, forever closing it climbing. In other news, climbers anxiously await the new Mt. Shasta II, once the turd from the above meal dries and solidifies.

I'm guessing this is on top of Jackson's Thumb at the City of Rocks. I'd recognize that valley anywhere.

And the top of Sharkstooth in RMNP. I like this pic because my helmet is crooked, my pants are torn, I'm tired but still smiling.

Angelaa and I don't normal take interesting summit shots--just the usual "here we are on top" types.

However, we did take these two on top of Eastpost Spire in the Bugs this summer.

Oh, yeah, and Dingus' leg photo reminded me of one we took while relaxin' on the summit of Photographers Peak in the Black Hills:
