Well, if you squint your eyes and tilt your head it looks like the climber (belayer) in the picture is the leader and therefore it would be backclipped...but I'm not sure if Laz is a spazz and walks around with his head tilted, eyes squinting.

no, bustloose did not think the rope was behind his leg. he just thinks it's a terrible fucking picture, but might have a different definition of terrible.
much the same way the average RC.comer thinks that 5.10 is high end climbing, the average RC.comer has no appreciation for real photography...
