Regardless, the only reason I can see for posting something you want to do is if you were looking for like minded folks to climb with. I have no idea why you would post what you have climbed. I don't know why I've only started to do this but I've started to keep notes of routes in my guides as well as in a journal. Is it overkill? Any of you guys do the notes in guide thing in addition to the journal?

I would suppose it is significantly easier to decide hard to climb on any given day if you never climb hard at all.

Would you still want people to put in a description if the route is straightforward? i.e. "this route is starightforward; not much route finding needed". I'm asking because I'm thinking of updating my routes lists and I'll put in descriptions.

Wow! what a stunning line! The chimy on pitch six was a blast and the under cling out to the roof on 7 was memorable. gears not as bad as it looks, have fun 8^) See that gives me something to read while I should be working but does not give the whole climb away.
