Hey - I am also going to be out to JTree when you're there!

I lead the easier stuff too, so I am going to take note on some of the routes listed here, because so far I have only led 2 routes at Jtree.

And I'm traveling solo, so any of those people who are your "overflow" - maybe you can spend a day with me...... The only thing I have on my "want to do" list so far is to follow Looney Tunes clean. Last March, that climb kicked my butt, but I was shocked that once I got the falling over with(at the crux), I got through the rest of the climb. And of course I would like to get some leads in, but.....I am cautious, and wouldn't want to comit to leading before I have met partners in person, and only if they are familiar with JTree climbing.

So.....I'm getting to the park early evening of 11/30, and leaving very early morning on 12/11 (unless I get over to Red Rocks for a few daze at the trip's close).

The Nutcracker! I led it a while back..they don't call it that for nothing

Good luck you East Coasters and if you need another person to show you around on the weekends - hit me back.

Have a great trip to SoCal!

oh you're right nearby happiegrrrl. and your climbing ability seems to be just about the same as mine. we should climb together in the gunks in the spring. maybe we could even hook up before then and climb indoors somewhere.

regardless, it looks as though cosmiccragsman is in favor of us all hanging out together in JT, and that suits me just fine too! I respect your cautiousness. I don't mind attempting to lead in JT. if it's above my ability, I'll move to something easier or let someone else lead.

Dan
