You need to update me in a couple months about this rope, I've looked at it several times, but wasn't so sure. I wish i new who the manufacture was.

I have had a few ropes over the years now and i can tell this one is worth the money. Its light, easy to work with, not to stiff, pretty much everything i look for in a sport rope. (and it looks damn cool i have the 9.8 one its the green one in the pic on the website) All i know about who makes it is that its made in the Czech Republic. Im not sure who is based over there.

Tendon/lanex is the only Czech company I could find, do these ropes look similar to yours? http://www.mytendon.com/...dnoducha/ambition98/ I've heard good things about tendon ropes, I really want to get another rope before moving to jamaica this summer, so this looks like the best deal out there.

I would say thats its, the pattern is the same but the colors are different. And all the specs are exactly the same.

According to their website, they say to contact Metolius via e-mail, that they are their distributor for the USA.

DMM 3CUs @ Pagan Gear for $35.00 each with free racking carabiner. http://www.pagangear.com/...WPROD&ProdID=167 Basically the same as TCUs, but with an extendable sling and the ranges don't quite get as small as the smallest TCUs. Damn good deal. Wish I had some spare dough.

Well, fair enough. Typically, DMM cams are sold with color coded spectre biners anodized the same color. However, they state on the site that they are *available*, but that may not necessarily be the racking biner provided if PG is doing their own dealy. Post edited to correct.

I emailed them and the racking biner is an Ace Climbing keylock bentgate. These are hard to clip and weigh about 70 grams a piece. At least its free.

Doesn't really matter. Use it as a bail biner or something. $35 is a good price for the cam alone - they're usually more in the neighborhood of $50.
