we can't post random photos. granted, it's a climbing website, and we should mostly post stuff regarding climbing, but how are we supposed to do screen potential front range party invitees without being able to post offensive burning calves or horrible jello concoctions?

I miss embedded images in the threads, the ability to change the color and size of text, my friends list and my climbing partners list.

I don't like how the private message system works when compared to the old way. I want the ability to manage the pictures in my profile including deleting whatever pics I want. I liked the ability to add video clips, urls and pics to my signature line.

I'm with Josh (vegan), the thing I miss the most is being able to add a picture to a post. A pic of a flaming cow is priceless. The effort required to describe such a beast is useless. A picture speaks a thousand words.

Ok I guess I understand your points. I've generally just used it as a way to connect with all of you. The pic's and stuff were entertaining....but it's not like you can do this in the same context on any other site....

yeah Rich, but it just wouldn't be the same. If we took over mproject like did on this thread they would kick us off for sure.
Has anyone else thought of taking over this site?
http://www.splitterchoss.com/msgbrd/
It's a climbing site for the Western slope and uses the same Phpbb hosting that the old RC had. I think it would be hilarious to start a front range thread here. In fact I just might.....

edited: ok so I started a frontrange on-going thread on the above site. Let's take over! Go to the link above and look under partners for the new thread, and give me a roll call.

Given the amount of moaning I've heard about the new site, I'm not sure how many of my bitches are still checking the thread. Anyway, in case you've not heard I'm back for about a week over the holidays. No doubt there'll be some drinking going on, but my question is should I blow the dust off my tools/ice screws and smuggle it all through LAX security? Is anything in decent nick?

I haven't climbed ice in about 2 years, and I (was) pretty happy on french grade 5 - I have no idea what that equates to over here.

It is pretty dead. Well at least you guys have another forum with hotlinked pics and stuff like this used to be. I wonder what will become of this thread. Perhaps someone else will move in. Ha.
