To my Front Range brothers and sisters (and you, too, anykineclimb): I'll be posting more details later, but like the swallows in San Juan Capistrano, or the salmon in the spawning rivers, I shall be making my annual pilgramage to Colorado this summer for some .... well, not sure yet. I'm hoping to be able to climb, but not sure yet. Neck surgery is (probably) forthcoming, and any climbing will depend greatly (ok, ok.... entirely) on the timing of that surgery and recovery progress. It might be that I spend a week doing day hikes, camping, and drinking beer (word is that beer helps the healing process.) The traditional "Let's all get together at Southern Sun and run up a $400 bar tab" meeting SHALL happen, that's for damn sure. Late July, most likely. I've got a couple days slated for RMNP, and then southward along the FR to Boulder (nthusiastj, still got floor space?), Denver, and the Springs, etc. More later, as we get closer.

Hey Gang, I'm done coaching wrestling for the season and now I am coming out of hibernation again. For those of you I haven't had the privelege of climbing with yet I hope that changes. For others I've climbed with, I hope you have been keeping strong so you can be my rope gun. I'm actually free Monday and Tuesday this week during the day as I'm off of work this week. If anyone wants to get out and climb (preferably Eldo) send me a pm. For those I haven't climbed with yet, I am experienced and usually lead in the 5.8-9 range for trad but I am willing to climb with anyone. ~Sung

So this might be a long shot but.... I am looking for some female climbing partners in the Co Springs area. I have a lot of experience and I love to lead. Sport, Trad, Aid, Ice .... it's all good. I am a fire fighter so I have a pretty nice schedule. I am not however looking for more male partners. Nothing against the guys, but it's easier on my husband if I keep with the ladies Any one interested pleeeeaaaaase let me know! Have fun climbing!

My route backlog is now down to 3 or 4 seasons -- we need to get it back above 7.

Hi! I am in Fort Collins today and Boulder later today and tomorrow and would love to climb. I'm sort of a novice/beginner, but am really trying to get some climbing in. I have a car.

Sung, How are you my friend? I'm finally back from the dead and will actually have a life this year as my new job and the training associated is done. How is the marriage and job going? I haven't been on the real rock in about a year or so. I'd love to follow you on a few routes...as you know, I make a good counter weight to a leader fall. ;) I'm a little busy this week but maybe we can sneak some time in soon. Give me a buzz, 720-635-2825 See ya, James |

Looks like folks are crawling out of their winter caves and I'd sure hate to miss out on the action (again), since I'm not planning on slicing my tendon in two this April, unlike last year. Haven't pulled "hard" in a while, but my FT remodeling job keeps me strong. My cardio is great, since I've been playing soccer all winter. I just need a couple days to renew the ol' contact strength. To the point: Sport: Lead 10's (comfortably) now, and improving. Trad: Lead 9's (comfortably) now, and improving. I'm available to climb: Saturdays. or Mon, Tues, Fri after 4p. (Wed and Thursdays are reserved for YoungLife and Soccer practice, respectively) Feel free to PM or email me, but the fastest way to grab me is on my cell phone (since I don't work at a desk): 303 519-9375. Andy.

Sung, good times yesterday. I always enjoy climbing with you. Hope you and Karen have a fab time in Vegas. James and Andy, we'll probably climb at R&J north tomorrow night (Thursday) due to the crap weather forecasted. Springtime in the rockies *sigh* Andy, we HHC on Tuesday nights and you're always welcome to join. Glad to hear your tendon is about healed.

EPC was great! managed 45 pitches in 5 days of climbing plus getting involved in the rescue of Ed. So I got my quotient of climbing fixed ropes in as well. Tim, the info you gave me was great and we had only minor adventures getting across the border and on to Hildalgo. Next year planning on at least a month.

Cindy, I personally swim through the PI unlike my esteemed partner who's paranoia of it is on a par with most people's fear of fire . Never have had a tic in there but watch know that I've said that I'll get attacked. Generally by the end of May heat starts becoming an issue. By watching things you can climb well into summer.

Young whipper snappers like yourself can become esteemed when old farts like myself bestow the distinctive title upon you. Otherwise its a long and dubious road to god only knows where to become esteemed.
