I had actually mentioned it in another thread but it must have gone unnoticed. Been spending time with a new lady friend as of late. It has been really good though. There was a chance she was going to join the Peace Corp. but as of yesterday she decided to stick around, so I am excited! :)

Yep that slipped past me. Very cool - congrats! Glad she is sticking around. :) :) Does that mean you are staying in TX - at least for awhile?

Yup, I will be sticking around here a bit longer. She makes it bearable, plus another great thing about her is she wouldn't mind moving to Colorado one day. She doesn't climb (yet) but loves the outdoors. So there is still a possibility in the future no matter how this plays out.

For a moment I thought BFR stood for Butt Fuck Revolution. Or Butt Fuck Revolutionary. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that wine just came out of my nose.

Happy Friday to you all. In 3.5 hrs I'm off to have lunch with the new lady friend, then it's off to the Wichita Mountains to help instruct a beginners climbing class. I'm hopping to get to set at least one of the routes. I have some shinny new cams that need some scuff marks.

Sweet! Enjoy your trip - be safe and have fun. :)

Happy Friday peeps. Was told yesterday I have to be in the office before 8:30am every day (even though there is no work to do til close to 10am - which I vocalized). So to be a stubborn b**ch, I am now showing up before 8am and leaving by 4pm.

We'll see how long that lasts - next they will chain me to my desk from 8am to 5pm. Really I'm grateful to work here. Mad

At least my interview went well last night - think I'm moving on to the 2nd and final round.

Spraining your ankle will work.

Now go climb steep easy stuff at the gym until you can climb steep hard stuff with one foot or your other foot gets better.

By the way. How many times must I warn you guys about participating in nonconforming sports?!?!?!?!

Saturday.... at work. Anyone else around for weekend morning coffee?

Loving the new computer. Hating the routine of Install --> reboot --> repeat often.

Oh, and this thing had almost 200 pieces of spy ware PRE-INSTALLED. Pulled it out of the box, installed SpyBot and AdAware, then ran 'em both. 197 pieces of spy ware.

Preloaded software BLOWS.
