ok, ok, all joking aside, the only real golden rule is that you have to send a full set of brand new cams to anyone who has a screename that starts with god and ends with father.

Just get along!
Let's appreciate our differences. One type of climber (let's say trad) bashes another (let's say gym). Though not as serious, this is closely akin to racism (both follow a premise of ignorance and prejudice). So just get along!

I think Flagstaff_Climber has the spirit. For those of you who have a hard time thinking about climber ethics get involved with Access issues. Climbers without ethics will affect the future use of private and public land. I guess one thought kind of sums it all up. Leave the climbing area better than when you came. Climb on

- Don't be a dick
- Work hard
- Learn everything you can
- Pay attention to the details
- Get as much experience as possible with folks better than you
- Realize shit happens and be prepared to deal
- Leave things better than you found them
