Saying 'make bolts 2m apart is stupid'........ if you are 30m off the deck and the fall is clean its okay IMO to have the bolts 5 or 6 meters apart.... maybe noobsters will have a hard time coping with the possibility of a 30ft fall but once they take a clean whip and survive they will be more confident climbers.... bolting a route that is not at all safe is also stupid though. I love slab climbing where the bolts tend to be 20ft apart so I just got used to it.. falling on slab isn't that bad... I'm scared if the wall is vertical and I'm 20ft run out (weird huh?)
