Majid, several months ago, you said you nearly tore off your thumb, and promised to write up a story about it several times. Well, since RCdotcom seems infested with trolls these days, how about it? Even if its not as complete a story as you initially intended, let's have it. What gives?

Will I get a reprimand if I say I wish this wasn't a blue thread?

He needs to wait until some reporter posts a poorly written story about it and then he can google himself

The way I heard it, he'd already tried to rescue 2 climbers that day even though they didn't want to be rescued, and was sitting around with his thumb up his arse. At that point, while one handed surfing the interweb, he came across a story of a hiker in Colorado who tripped over a 6 inch boulder and twisted his ankle. He puckered up so tight that it severed the tip of his thumb, requiring a Spongebob band-aid.

I don't think it's climbing related. He's always dinking around with cars and helicopters. If I had to guess the thumb got to close to something that was spinning like a cooling fan or a belt or maybe even a rotor.

On Nov. 12. 2008, you said you'd post up in a day or two... http://www.rockclimbing.com/...d;page=unread#unread Now it's another 3 weeks. I'm not sure why you haven't written anything. It'll be two years or so before healing is complete. You know I'll help you to the extent I'm able...I'm just interested in what happened. I'd rather not speculate, but it could be fun. Hmmm... fun at someone else's expense....

Removed the distal bone completely. he now has a rubber knuckle, and a tissue donor gave him the new bone that is now the tip of his thumb. i wish i had pictures, I would share.

I was cutting some logs after a severe winter storm I missed my leg with a chain saw missed my knee cap buy 2 inches the saw was on its way down I had let go of the trigger and was pulling up on the saw, but it still had momentum going down. surprisingly it did not do very much damage it ripped threw my jeans an stopped when it hit flesh it took 2 weeks to heal never hurt and no stitches I praise God that I did not cut off my leg sry i don't know how to put the image int the thread

At least one time, a thumb was cut off in a lead fall when a loop of the rope got around it.

But yet you’re still here posting about everything except your damaged thumb. Curious. . .you must wait for your thumb to heal in order to post about it but it’s well enough to post about other topics.
