Yeah Les, let's keep telling ourselves that; before long, we won't have anything else to believe... Welcome back HOME Jeff! Tell your little woman, "Thanks for the updates!" You're coming Saturday right??? Well Les, I went to VE again Wednesday night after I got my new shoes (I'll tell you that story in private ). Louis and I hung together and climbed some of our ussual stuff, but tried to take it easy. Then we decided about 8pm to warm down and play some EASY Add On... Well, more and more people started to "pop" in so, being the hospitable guys we are, we'd invite them to join us for a bit (you can probably see what's coming). That was until Chris "PIPES" popped his head in. By that time, I was so used to it, when whoever was done, I just turned to him and said "Yer Turn!" OOOPS! He walked thru the dozen moves we'd already put up and added One Hold and that was it... We all wore ourselves out trying to get to it... Then, he added another... A high sloper! Yeah! Right!!! I was never so glad to see 9:15 in my life! That dude is STRONG! Not much feet, but arms for you, me, and 3 other guys ALL DAY LONG!!! Well, he's a good guy anyway. So, I talked to most of the "regular gang" and it seems quite a few seem to be up for Saturday... I guess I didn't get any "DEFINATELY DUDE!" comments, but it sounded like most would come down with the exception of Louis who has his kids. Todd was not there but Craig was and said Saturday most likely worked for him; and he'd also message Todd... So Craig and probably Todd, maybe Will (if he doesn't party too much Fri.), Curt, maybe Patrick, hopefully Jeff, and Les and Dann... I was thinking of maybe starting a bit earlier than 11am... Anyone interested, let me know here or PM me... duskerhu

Well, we were not the only people who had the idea to head out to Barns today, I think all of VE was there. Todd, Craig, Jeff, Dann, Kevin, Gunnar, Anne and I were there. We did Cooler crack (thanks to Todd fo the lead) Sleeping bat (Todd also) Jump start, Jam & jelly and Sunburst. The weather was great with a super blue sky, now lets hope we get something in Jan. Les

HA, ha, ha... Na nahna nah boo boo! We climbed outside! (in Minnesota in December) If you weren't there, YOU MISSED OUT! It was GEORGOUS! weather for climbing... Blue sky, mid 40's, NO or LOW wind all day. The only thing wrong, was like Les said, half the membership at VE was out there... Which really wasn't worng, just confirmed that if we are crazy, at least we're not the only ones. So, this week we'll have some wind and snow and some colder temps, making it just perfect for Christmas. (sniff) (sniffff) Ooop, I can smell it... Frigid temps in January with a little break, right about the middle, say, 18th or 19th; about a day, day and a half of 40 - 43 degrees and bright sunshine. Just enough time to roll south of the cities for a little January climbing. Yeah, I can SMELL it! Monday 1600 @ VE for me and Les people... duskerhu

Uh, yeah... What's that stupid look on your face for Jeff??? And plan on leaving your wife and kid home on that one. You can take one road trip without having to babysit right??? Gee, we saw your wife for a total of about 8 seconds Saturday. She wasn't pissed or anything was she? But yeah, Blue Mound in January; now, after Christmas we have to start doing the Sunshine Dance! We need at least 1 day where it gets sunny and up to about 40 or so... I hear the war drums already... duskerhu

Well, another Monday, and Dan had to take off early for work. He missed the best part of Monday, working Les over on a game of add-on where he actually -limped- back to the locker room after today's day of add on. Everyone else was elsewhere, and so it was just Dan and I today... I can't wait for next Monday!!! Next month RockDawg is attempting 5.11's at the gym... I can't wait to -attempt- as well, can you say 'FINGER BURN?'...

Well Ed, if you showed up at 4pm and climbed hard till 8pm and then played "Add On" with duskerhu, till 9ish, and then played "Add On" with crux, you'd be LIMPIN' back to the locker room too! ...and HEY! DON'T be crankin' on my partner like that!!! He won't wanna come back anymore... Les, there's no RULE that say's you have to stay past 9 or 9:30... You can just bail if you wanna... You have to go to work too ya know. ...and you know I'd never abandon you, but when you gotta work to climb, you gotta work to climb dude! As far as Wednesday, I have to finish some X-mas shopping so, I'm hoping to at least stop up and boulder for a while but, we'll see what happens. I may just climb like ussual. duskerhu

Oh I know you you didnt really abandon me, I was tring to get Louis in there to share some of the pain but he had an excuse, but I think his excuse ran out because Jay gets to climb 11's next week so he wont need a belay slave to put him up and down the easy routes. See you in the cave Louis

WEllll, I have my girls for about 10 days starting tonight so, I'll say this... I wanna be there Monday (and if I am it'll be about 4pm), but if I am, I will have the girls with me... Maybe Santa has to break-down and give them their new harnesses and chalk bags early so they'll wanna try'em out. I'll post-up Sunday night and let you know how Santa's feeling in a few days... duskerhu
