Oh don't worry I know the difference.

I do find it odd though that you want to hide potential data that will reinforce that daisy chains are for body weight only and should not be used for a personal anchor.

Have you ever walked around the campgrounds at night, and just observe what the different groups do? Is it a good idea to just walk in to every group, or do some send out the "Do Not Touch" vibe? Would you want every one of them to have a loaded weapon? The majority have that very right, but does it make it right?

That should say enough.
Bob

Also, your question was clearly answered in the thread you quoted me from, by me. Curious, or throwing stones?

I was currious why you where apologetic and understanding on one site and a rude, bitter, obtuse jackass on another.

Oh and I think you should work on your analogies a bit. While the walking around the campground full of weapon analogy dosen't work; it's rather poorly written and nearly incomprehensible.

Your reading and comprehension skills are lacking also. So where exactly is bitter, and jackass? Or do you just attack unfoundedly without any cause?

Peace, Bob.

Rest, relax, chill!

Everybody's OK here, we're doing what we like to do.

Sit back and watch the show. You might learn something, you might laugh -- or you might not. Either way, it's OK.

It's all good.

Oh my reading comprehension is just fine, it's just your analogies are so poorly written it's difficult to understand.

The overall tone of your postings here has been bitter and you're acting like a jackass. This is enhanced by the fact that on ST you where respectful and open minded towards adat, but here you where arrogant, short tempered, and elitist. That is what makes me think of you as a bitter jackass.

Dan, I am laughing. Some posters take themselves way too seriously, and if an opinion stated doesn't side with their line of thinking, they seem to want to exploit the anonymity of the internet to insult and try to defamate whomever expresses an opinion other than their own. I take issue with inaccurate information, especially when it is way out of context, and even more so when it is obvious they do it just their own entertainment.

That is ruining many threads on this forum. Thread drift is not always a bad thing, as long as focus reoccurs. There are a few, and they are aware of who they are, just slander others, and post their opinions as if every one else is wrong. This is occuring so frequently on so many noob type threads that the community is getting disinterested in even getting involved in topics that could benefit all.

Do not hear that I think I am right, this is not true, but I am also not afraid of the dipshits and bullies. Especially so when they make statements so stupid and counterproductive and not even remotely coherent. I just let them out themselves, hopefully so we can continue to clean up the mess, and continue with some semblance of constructive intercourse.
I apologize for thread drift,

If you wish to read through the thread in question you can find it here.

http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=925984&msg=927017#msg927017

It seems that the level of maturity is better on a couple other forums, and as a result, so is the information and ability to get it from the others. I do seek to remain on this site as a regular, but sometimes it is such a pain in the ass, that it just doesn't seem worth the time and bother.

I could just lay down and go away, like many, many regulars have. But I choose to try to restore some of what used to exist here. There is the posibility that this may help, or hinder, but I won't just let what used to be a pretty good community and source of information die without at least trying.

Rant Over.

Bob
