While that's good news, it seems odd to me that a foreigner, especially one who is about to be deported, is even eligible for the grant. I'd think it would be for local, that is to say native, artists. This is definitely a concern. We're hoping we can work around it. If not, we have other places to go where this sort of restriction isn't a problem.

Other than that. they were hearty animals. I fielded a phone call from a vet for a co worker yesterday. I couldn't get a word in edgewise until the lady stopped to talk. It was a full dental run down about the status of this molar, this canine, this incisor, this tooth looks great and Amanda is doing well otherwise. When I finally got a word in the lady told me to tell my co-worker to call the vet! THE VET! He sent his dog in for dental work! Not just a cleaning... but cavities! Seriously? They do that? I'm in the wrong business.

I have now been recognized twice as being AKA notapplicable out in the real world, inspite of not having a face picture on here. Creepers be creepin.

That's happened to me a couple of times (yes, one of those is a famous story). But I do have photos here, so that makes sense. But the first one, being recognized over Lynn Hill was whacked. The second one was ten minutes after walking up to Turkey Rocks. Tedman walked up to me and asked me if I was GMBurns. Random! It happend with Gail, too. I remember when drivel clausti was standing below kansas city when the clamhead was working the route. I didn't know it at the time, but I knew it after the sprayfest here early the next week.

I put it out there on the stalkbook that I was getting into Kings of Leon, but the more I listen to them the more I don't think they're all that. I'm kind of afraid to backtrack now.
