I did feel a little better after Chossmonkey and GG came by and said something about J_ung calling it a sandbag though. Either way, it was certainly one of the best finger cracks Ive been on. And I think you're right. If memory serves, the picture I saw of shredded wheat had that distinct horizontal striping. Definitely Gneiss.

Understandable, North Conway for me means close proximity to Huntington Ravine, and Cannon. Probly my two favorite spots in NH... Cathedral's not bad, though always crowded. Whitehorse is a bit scary...
