Nice Mother's Day weekend here, doing mothers-day-type things.
Spent all Saturday in company of Heffe, chainsaw, and pruners. Still a bunch of things that need to be taken out, but we ran out of gas.
Christened my new compost bin with the first batch of vegetable trimmings. Heffe gave me a big bag of his partly-composted leaves to get the pile going.
Got a bunch of plants for the front-yard flower bed. Really bummed that I couldn't do the planting bc it was rainy cold miserable most of the weekend. It supposed to be dry (but cold) for the next couple days, and then gets warm and wet again, When am I supposed to kill the nasty ground ivy and dig up the tree stumps in the backyard?
Went out for dinner with Heffe and kids on Sunday.
NO climbings AT AWL! End of the school year is so crazy.

Well shitz...
Guess it wus opening weekend fer teh season at teh hole. 12 climbers on sat and 17 on sun... including a couple ov gnu fases. Whut a fuking zoo. I just put on teh hedphones and werked on a gnu root.
Big Tony showed up... withowt boots or draws and didn't climb... belayed though, if whut he does kin really be called belaying but bring in a traveling local from teh Gunks, guy named Paul. Nice guy, decent climber. he's put up roots at teh Gunks, Kingston Quarries, a couple ov other local NY spots including a crag on his property, teh Backyard.
And Alice brought in sum euro, also a nice guy and a decent climber. I cood tell they were both strong, but they both struggled and thought teh roots were difficult fer teh grade. I did mentioned that there iz nothing rong with stiff grades... they both laughed.

You are both sort of rite. Moved upstairs into the bigger apt Friday. It was poor timing because I had a heavy workload last week, and the loyerettes mom and dr. Krebs were both in town. Servers are indeed moving, but most new data is getting piped to equipment already in the new spot. mah datuhz!
CI's data pipeline has more leaks than an arkansas oil line. yore datuz are gone.

spent teh weke end in denver, mostly drinking.
had been trying to find a partner for monday, one guy had said that he and a friend would probably be out sport climbing, so I figured I was good. by saturday night, this had morphed into bouldering at the flatirons ... fuck that. scrambled and was able to line up a guy by 6 or 7 sunday night, ended up at eldo (kamhed shitz pantz in rage. climbed Rover to Ruper up the redgarden wall, was pretty easy but fun enough. watched a guy hammering away at a new rowt.
