It wouldn't be as funny without knowledge of 60-80s American politics. haggis wasn't even alive in teh 80z. actually, most of my understanding of 1980s politics comes from Bloom County I don't even understand American politics in the 00's... so yeah I'm sure it wouldn't be as funny.
