How are we on logistics? The most recent NEICE posts look good.

Haven't you been skiing for like a week?

Like, this year? Or period?

If I get involved with the winter program I have a better shot at a paid rock leader/instructor in the summer. I have 0 experience with adaptive skiing, so I think it will be fun to learn about or even try a sit ski.
A friend does adaptive skiing, he had to do quite the prep for it. A mini-apprenticeship, etc. Maybe they just take it really seriously in WV or something.

naw, that user's profile is in Minn. More likely to be INC?

Seriously, I saw the thumbnail on the front page of that photo, so of course I clicked on it, and got a truly WTF? moment. Who the hell posts photos like that if they're not a spammer (or boondocksaint, hehe)?

Beyond that, I will wait for Jack's pontifications on skinny shorthaired girlboys.

Is it just me or does the swimsuit look rather photoshopped?

I'm not going to study the image

As the Taco confirms, the most dumbass things we do become great "I remember when..." stories.

Like, "I remember when Ekop ate shit in front of 50 15 other skiers on the Mt. Washington headwall."

Let's be realistic.

It was an entertaining yahd sayl, at least from my perspective.

Both of the batteries for my 12v cordless drill are dead and won't take a charge. They drill isn't even very old and now I'm stuck with the conundrum of buying a gnu drill or a set of batteries that cost as much as a gnu drill and a set of batteries.

My bosch batteries are getting old and tired too. I'm thinking of just getting some hobby batteries for that though. Will suck for drilling on lead though.

Wish I could justify a new rock drill.

gnu drill

Yeah! Get a dewalt!
um that is the POS I have now. The drill is like new. the batteries are just fucked.

I guess the conudrum with a gnu drill is get one like I have then I can have two drills and not have to switch bits all the time, or get a drill that might actually last.

I always thought dewalt were pretty gud. I used them at work all the tyme. I think the biggest problem is that the batteries weren't the XLR or whatever it is. Those batteries sucked from day one. I shoulda took it back.

Electrical work is easy, rebuild the batteries with LiIon cells. Just drill some holes and run some wires! Easy!
and teh charger?

So, we met one of these in the park today:

A japanese akita. i think Burly must have some of this in him - the bindle, the socks, the black spots on the socks, the very white tip of his tail.

If that dog and a beagle had a baby, it would be my pup:

I just had to spend $200 on my Tacoma because the seatbelt stopped working. $100 to get a new seatbelt (didn't have time to comb junkyards), and I didn't have the tools to replace it myself, so $100 in labor.

This all sounds really good for the environment. Salt the shit out of the roads and then the oil can drip off and it can all run into the creeks.

Its not that kind of oil, it doesn't hurt the environment. dont you know anything?

so what kind of oil dripping off yore car is gud for teh invironmint?
Apparently baby seal oil.

I'd have to think whale oil would be equally eco friendly.
