The sporto draws on a tied webbing sling is pretty badassretarded.

Especially since that is the anchor and he still has like 14 draws left. i mean the whole route has 4-5 bolts total so.... wtf? and it's an arete traverse so it's not like you can't count the bolts.

Agreed, though I usually do get a laff out of the ultra serious sportos that take draws off their harness if they have even one more than the route requires.

Though I also laff at traddies that save the weight of one ultra-light biner by putting two cams onto one.

Please, nobody that was a serious tradie, that was free climbing would condider doing such a silly thing. Now if you are aidz climbing....

Well, I guess if you were a real wanker, doing nature hikes and scenic walk, where you get to just stand around anywhere you want to handle the rack with two hands.... but that's not reALLY Climbing, now is it.

Looks chilly out there. Zendage?

I didn't even touch it - I 'zend' it at 10c A0 last time so there was no point getting on it unless I was ready to zend the start. It was fuking cold. Unfortunately, for the Brit, he went for the onsight in the weather and pulled the start on the first try only to takez later when he couldn't feel his fingers anymore.

Snupe made it all of 10 feet up the wide-hands splitter start of Wangerbanger before throwing in the towel. Onsight fail. I wuzzent going to follow suit, waiting till spring.

We went over to the Hot Tub Wall afterwards and did the bulted rowtz. They're pretty damn fun, specially Amanda... in the Hot Tub.

that crazy brit! Always making the qwestionable decision.

is that your head princess is standing on?

10 feet, eh snewp?

those hot tub routes are fun, I did three I think but don't know the names. watanobe is fun too, short crux.

Durp. Unfortunately her standing on the hoodie prevented me from looking at the camera, as I was trying to do.

There are three bolted rowtz. Amanda is the longest one, in the middle. Watanobe iz fun, but I'd call it a guidebook rowt at 10a - if you know how to fizt jam.

Hmm, I don't know if I could downrate the Watanobe. Sure, it is kind of a one move wonder that isn't hard with a fist jam, but I think it's a move of .10a. Definitely easier than a lot of other .10as like the bird or tacks mahn, maybe about the same as prepackaged.

it's no exorcist. I thought the move was solid 10a.

My only regret in life is that just before I took the photo, I didn't yell 'take' to zeke.

What the fuck is that? Did he place a piece and downclimb to rest? Despite JT's view on the matter, that's a FIAL.

the tax man. no FIAL, I zent that shit.

And in excellent style as well, as we can see.

I did the easy wide hands start, was failing to pull into teh pod, so I came down.

FIAL.

SOunds like we have a gnu glory zend to gun for.

do we have two failz?

Blutarski was there. Blutarski walked away. blutarski saves it for spring. The race is on.

If we want to get technical, klawsti failzed on WB. I think it needs to get added. Oh, and I found a pic of the route I cratered off of yesterday:

I know I sound like just another Ohio-Pennsylvania wanker going "no, seriously, it's really good rock!" but the problem is way nicer and higher than the pic makes it look. I fell moving to the right hand upper crack that the guy is looking at there...

you don't have to get very technical to define my pantzshitting toprope attempt at wangerbanger as a fail.

I read teh technikality as kamhed debating weather you count.

So the ruling was 2 members of grupe must fial?

Correct. Despite my berating, snupe huffed and puffed up the first 7 feet of tacks mahn, placed a green alien, then reversed all the moves to the ground where he rested for 10 minutes before actually deciding to climb.

FIAL.

We will need to update the Glory Zends list to reflect this.

The sweet one is a disgrace.
