I'd say I win, but you'll be making money whereas I'm skiing into town for groceries because my broke-ass can't put gas in the wagon.

Oh well.
I thought you were in town.

Make sure you figure out a way to ski them home...depending on how much you are buying.

I can picture you pushing a cart filled with 7-8 bags of stuff out of the grocery, stopping in the parking lot and going, "Oh.....fuck!!!"

Wink

Busted...I'm 2 miles out. There's only one road in, and there's a groomed skate trail next to it.

It's a carbs run...beer, bread and bagels. Thinking about rigging the old torpedo sled in the garage as a tow behind.
Wow, that's akshually pretty cool.

Beer, bread and bagels will replace the energy you burn while skiing in to buy said beer, bread, and bagels.

The beer aint worth the weight.

Well, every other word is misspelled in this place I figured no one would notice!

it was still accidental on teh part of Stiffy the Koala.

Both of the batteries for my 12v cordless drill are dead and won't take a charge. They drill isn't even very old and now I'm stuck with the conundrum of buying a gnu drill or a set of batteries that cost as much as a gnu drill and a set of batteries.

My bosch batteries are getting old and tired too. I'm thinking of just getting some hobby batteries for that though. Will suck for drilling on lead though.

Wish I could justify a new rock drill.

All of my hilti batteries went bad several years back, When they were avalible, they cost $375. What I've been doing is getting them rebuild. There is a place back east that did my 36volt batteries for $99, takes about two weeks. Last time I needed one fast so I dropped it off at battery plus and they rebuilt it in a day for $125. When my computer gets fixed I'll check on the back east place. They charge $33 per every 12 volts. Bosh battery should cost about $66 plus shipping. The batteries today are better than the old tech so they werk out better than when they were first new.
I was reading that you can pick up the cells at hobby shops. Some guy was talking about how the neighbor kid used to rebuild his batteries. I don't think it that hard once you find all the parts.

You can do that two. It'z not hard just a little soldering. I just don't have the time. When I do have any spare time, I werk on my house, to make it more valuable. Seems to make better sence, to me at least.

Well you all know about my 16 year old...

So I'm tring to encourage and be supportive of his choises, while at the same time kinda directing him in another direction, than the Army Rangers. Kinda a tricky line to walk.... I asked Jack if he would like to check out climbing again. Told him it was a gud way to get strong, test himself and meet some new people. He said it sounded like a gud way to get strong. I told him if he was interested I would sign him up with the climbing gym. I mentioned that they have a bunch of free weights and machines to werk out on. That was kinda my hook, cuz he has been asking about getting weights for him. I said it would be pretty cool if he would check out something I've enjoyed, been doing for quite a while and has taken me all over the world. I said it would be pretty cool if we could do something together before he becomes an adult and begins his life, in the direction he choses. I mentioned that the gym cost a stack and that if he was interested he would have to make a commitment to one evening a week with me to climb and at least one other day a week that he could do what ever he wanted, weights or climbing. He said he was interested.

I haven't been to the gym in years and I was kinda wanted to know who was running the place now. Turns out it's a guy I knew from when I used to go there. He moved up the ranks and now runs the place. I told him what I was interested in, that I didn't want to do any werk for the gym for a free membership. I just asked for a pro deal. He mentioned that they didn't do that, but if I wanted to do something...... in exchange for a free membership. "No, that not what I want to do...." and then he just gave me a great deal, even though they don't really do that.

I came home yesterday evening, told Jack he was signed up and he seem pretty excited. By this morning he had already searched out the garage found a backpack, harness, chalkbag and boots. They were all my stuff, but not the stuff I'm using, so cool. His mom used to climb, so on the way to school this morning, he asked her how to tie a figure 8. She kinda remembered and then they looked it up on the web, to check. When I walked in the door this evening, Jack was practicing tying the figure 8 and asked me to check it.

We are going to the gym tomorrow night.
Nice. Lets hope he sticks with it. I tired the same thing with my son....but Nate scared him away with his dry tooling shit!! So now he is in a sport that costs way more than climbing. Good thing I don't pay a penny towards it. Who the hell needs a bike that is worth more than a used car???
