I've never bothered to check out mountain project's forums due to an overwhelming concern that, if I decided to start posting there, I'd have to actually talk about climbing. Fuck that noise.

The mountain project forums are good for buying stuff, but the climbing stuff is ever worse than here.

I am sure the comment I just left should attach itself to me as soon as they figure out we have seen the thread. It could take it a while, or maybe i'll save them time by posting that the name over their is Burly Bob, and here is xtrmecat. To uppity for me, I kind of like it here in the gutter, with all the other rats, noobs, dipshits, and even Majid, or USnavy. At least the people here will say "you are a dumshit" to your face. Oh, and to keep it climbing related, here is a pic from the weekend. Bob

Not really a gimme John. Those are the Howser Towers, just over 11,000 feet, and the pic is taken from the third belay across the way. Bluebird day, got a sunburn during lunch, and never felt anything over 60 degrees F. all day. Bob

John, no surfs up was the objective of the day. Snowpatch spire. Did most of a 5.10+ish variation. Hard to beat the locale though, another juicy pic is you desire. Bob

I want to be Bob. BTW, the Internets all suck big at times, and all are sublime at other times as well. I'd say that the depth of wisdom on Supertopo is the highest, followed by Cascadeclimbers with Mountainproject a 2nd or 3rd place depending on the day. If it wasn't for JT512, this place would be the toilet. They should pay that guy. Thanks Jay!

I read these posts, then went to the link on MP, then I did some reflecting... Has MP had anything that could hold Subtle's jock? I am referring to "Ask the NOOB" - I miss that thread, although it was pretty threadbare by the time Subtle let it go. I see that he dropped by back in May. Anyone else remember/miss the NOOB?
