Anyone here ever climb with RGold?? I have :) Also climbed with Dick Williams, Rich Gottlieb, and Rich Romano. I guess I'm not really connected or something, but I either don't know what famous climbers look like, or I offend them at the cliff, because I have not climbed with anyone more famous than that. Oh wait...I take that back...I bouldered with Leo Houlding one afternoon outside Huaraz Peru back in 2001. Another totally zany person I've climbed with several times...probably not famous to anyone but a handful of northeast ice climbers...Joe Szot I've met and chatted with some famous climbers including Joe Simpson at a bar in Huaraz, John Bragg at the Gunks, Jim Shimberg, Rick Wilcox, Colin Haley, Lynn Hill, Bean Bowers, Matt Segal, Vince Anderson, Henry Barber I think Camhead has the most impressive list so far.

I remember it somewhat differently. Then again (as has already been pointed out) I am getting old. In any event, I am officially designating "April Showers" as my favorite Gunks route, in memory of my visit there with you and the clamheads. Curt

Curt I guess my memory is not getting better with time, either... I thought it was Golden Showers, where we all ate dirt, while you patiently demonstrated that really, the start moves were so easy that they could be done is approach shoes? I am sure you can pick a few faves like that in Hueco-- want to try in march?

Hueco has lost much of its appeal for me with all the new regulatory BS there. Curt
