So I wanna get ripped so I can shred the gnar like angry and suprasoup. I want to climb those routes that pure overhang and stuff. I read a book by JT that said I would be a fatass if I kept eating all fatty foods, so I decided to make a list of the foods that I was willing to sacrifice for climbing performance. I figure if I eat less foods I will get less calories (that means fat). So I made the lists of food I WOULD stop eating, and food I CAN'T stop eating. Will give up for climbing -brocolli -pasta (too much carbahidron) -salad (the dressings is fat) -apples -sugary fruits -apple juice -eggplant -other such vegetables like soup, pizza toppings, and pickles -water (2.2 pounds per litre!?!?) Things I CAN'T give up -Carrots -ice cream (maybe I can stop some flavours?) -chocolate (more antioxidants then red wine!) -proteins like bananas and meats -pork -chicken -fruits like yogert covered raisins and craisins. -Cheese But I guess I need to eat less of ice cream, but what flavours have the most calories (fat) in it? I will stop eating those flavours. Thanks!!! FOURIER, DO YOU SEE WHAT LEVELS OF PROCRASTINATION YOU HAVE MADE ME SINK TO?

How can you put craisins and raisins in the same category?!?!?! There's your problem right there! On craisins you get crazy ripped. On raisins-- just slightly ripped. An idiot could understand the distinction.

You will never get mad ripped until you follow the advice of my high school wrestling coach: Eat only ice cubes (no liquid water) and small amounts of celery, and do lots of jumping jacks in a steam room to sweat out your body's water. Each pound of water in your body is only holding you back! Dehyrdration = the power to crush all routes as well as the skulls of your enemies.

Why bother dieting when you can literally carve the fat away with a potato peeler or paring knife? Keep some cotton balls and a needle and thread handy, and go to town!

Well even though this sounds trolltastic, I would suggest spending more time studying nutrition and dieting, perhaps even going to see a nutritionist. Your list shows that your really don't know too much about general food health, so do some research and don't focus on your list.

So I don't know how many times I have to ask this simple question again over and again more: WHAT FLAVOUR OF ICE CREAM DO I NEED TO STOP EATING TO MAKE ME RIPPED?

Eat lots o' Olive Oil IceCream (OOIC) it gots what sungam needs: monounsaturated fats. Why settle for sheddin' nars when you can shred nars on monos.

Instead of getting ripped, just add your handicap to the grade, and you'll realize you're already CRUSHING the gnar. Here's the formula: BMI-24 = Handicap Each Handicap point = 1 letter grade. For me, at a BMI of 28, when I totally OS that sick 11a, after applying my handicap I realize I'm even sicker than I knew because it was a 12b. So, with your 11 point icecream Handicap, you're already teh strongest climber in teh world!

I actually don't understand the adjective grades at all, but I'm going to pretend like I do: So, if you can't see your feet, it makes it way scarier. And if you haven't seen your junk without a mirror in 5 years, you're already mentally a little off balance. So, it doubles the seriousness of the climb. HVS * Can't See the boys = E11. Oh, and letter grades and aussie grades are the same thing.

It's not that you need to stop eating ice cream it's just that you were eating the wrong kinds. This is the flavor you need to eat: raw horse flesh! or maybe: Fried eggplant! and everybody loves: Indian curry ice cream!

The very BEST ice cream I've ever eaten was a Baklava ice cream from Baskin Robins. It was a temporary thing so afterwards I tried making it at home just by grinding up regular ice cream with baklava... absolutely amazing!

sungam wrote: scotty1974 wrote: Well even though this sounds trolltastic, I would suggest spending more time studying nutrition and dieting, perhaps even going to see a nutritionist. Your list shows that your really don't know too much about general food health, so do some research and don't focus on your list. I read JT's book, I already said that. The book is a nutrional book, so I know what I'm saying, okay? Look- food is basically simple - if I like the taste it is because my body NEEDS ICE CREAM, okay? So I don't know how many times I have to ask this simple question again over and again more: WHAT FLAVOR OF ICE CREAM DO I NEED TO STOP EATING TO MAKE ME RIPPED? Why not write JT a p.m since its his book that you are following. Maybe he's keeping a diet secret about becoming ripped, Maybe its not the flavour of ice cream, does he eat only ice cream cones?

Don't be ridiculous Sungum, everyone knows that you have to pyramid your food groups. Green, white and brown are the basic food groups. Use that as your base and go form there.

I am in your exact same position. I want to get cut before the end of year school beach trip but I don't have the time or cash to buy only super super organic things, and I am not a fan of fruits or vegetables. I have taken up weight training in addition to climbing and martial arts, and have completely given up fast food. I have been eating a good amount of bananas lately (the only fruit I can really get in to) and have been drinking protein shakes everyday. i use Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey since you get 5.13 pounds of whey powder for 40$ and it has 24g or protein a scoop! So far my biceps haven't really improved in size at all, but I started doing bench press for the first time in my life and I have made pretty noticeable size and strength gains in 6 months of bench press. I'm also very lucky to have a naturally very low body fat %.

Not really, bananas don't have too much sugar in them. In comparison to other fruits, yea they have sugar and carbs but that just means they give you more energy.

An idiot could understand the distinction. But yogert makes your bones strong. Which is key. Cuz strong bones are the fertile soil in which ripped muscles grow.

Wow I call you out for being weak in one thread and you follow me around acting like a 12 year old "urrr a fagggittttt". Did I upset you in some way? Can I make it up to you? Maybe a master class in climbing, or in posting. I can teach you dank shit like how to not be trash at either.
