Not that I could contribute a ton, but this year I hope to get owt twice as much as last year. If distributed evenly, to reach 200K feet we would each need to climb just under 12K feet in a year. Some of ewe (Jack, See Eye and Chossy) probably exceed 50K feet, but some of us may be pushing to get to 5-10K. well, since the last two trips I've taken have just been bouldering, I'm not contributing much. Chattvegas was teh awesome. Ewe went to Nooga to boulder? WHyz ewe knot climez teh tard at T-Wall?

I just counted up my total on the year and I think I have approx 4300 feet of climbing outdoors for 2011. That is a pretty rough estimate though, I think I averaged 70 feet for the climb lengths in NJC and josh, and 8 pitches a day. The vector day was probably 200 feet, and then wednesday at the loaf I figure I did 750 feet. No way i'll be able to keep track of the year though. I guess if I went with my daily average of approx 500 feet a day? Of course I think the Sun Ribbon Arete was probably 2000 by itself. Yeah, 500ft a day was what I was figuring off of. It's a managable amount for an active day at a single pitch carg. So 12K is approximately 24 days owt. 500' is a rugged day at the Creke but a rest day at EPCN. It's also 35 routes at Rumney which, given the whoredz of Bostonians is inconceivable. not that rugged at the Creek, since most routes there are 100 feet or more. I got on 5 pitches yesterday with Justroberto for a total of 500 feet. It was 75F!

However, I went down with the Anderson family, and logistically it was easier to boulder with two kids (I don't think Janelle was psyched on doing the Twall approach carrying a kid). And, Little Rock City is some of the best bouldering I've done anywhere. Concentrated problems, the rock is a bit easier on your hands than Hueco, more diversity in lines than HP40. And, there's a supersekritradness tard line at the New that has probably a v6-7 boulder problem crux, so I am really working on building power this season.

First pitch of Hartford to second pitch of Kracken (it's a new line), then MD2020 (I think), then Ripple, then over to Owl Crack after stopping to look at Runamuck and getting afeard of the 7X climb.

I should look into them again. I decided to try it since I joined the gym and they do classes for the members. What the hell. I did yoga for the first time in a year last week. Anyway, I got brutalized. And it was an easy day. This is what we did: 400m run 15--where you swing a kettlebell from between your legs to over your head 35 burpees. You know, the pushup/jumping jack combo things? 3 sets. I think it took me 24 minutes. Warmup was just some light stretching. It was the burpees that killed me, I don't have the core and shoulders I need to do that many. I got thorugh the first set ok, but the 2nd and 3rd wrecked me. The extra cup of coffee I had probably didn't help. But I'll go back. It was probably also a little cold. And the music was too slow and uninspiring. And you need some new gym shooz. And yore blue track suit doesn't breath. And...

Wanted to get into this a few years ago, but never pushed myself enough for it (also didn't help that at the time I literally couldn't run and a lot of the cardio days involve sprints). There's a guy in town that runs crossfit classes. $15 a pop. I would like a little guidance in terms of doing the exercises properly (and availability to some of the equipment that I don't have), but it seem a little expensive for a class for exercise sets that usually don't run mire than 1/2 hour. I just stolzed the P90X vids from the internets for the gf.

It takes me a minute, but I finally guess that she's asking for the gender of my partner. Husband? I supply, and shes like oh, yes, I never assume! does he also have a tattoo?? tl;dnr: I look like a lesbian again, apparently. Do you keep a photo of camhead in your wallet to show people? she just pulls out his balls. that's nice. Yeah, true. Complete with hairy scrot and everything. Speaking of ballz, it was pretty cool seeing Mr. Anderson onsight a v7 highball while his kids are running around in every direction screaming. v7 highballs and babysitting kids at the same time? That's impressive? In the last movie he was fighting like 50 agents at the same time, dodging bullets, and flying.
