woah man, that solo was like 20 feet! usually when i'm soloing that high i have to use a crash pad so i can jump down safely!

yeah sometimes I get so in the zone when I'm bouldering that all of a sudden I'm at the top of the 18' top-rope wall before i even know it, just pulling down on jugs and being badass

Climbing 20 feet up an artificial wall with a camera on you is not a solo. Solo means solo, no spectators, no film crews, just you and the rock.

While I agree with your logic, I'm curious what else about his technique you would criticize and what you would suggest the proper way to relieve the kicking would be. Just touching the wall at one point?
